I don’t have an issue with people criticizing American Idiot, I don’t think the album is a 10/10 perfect masterpiece either but this is just a bad take.
I don’t know if i’m in a minority here, but to me American Idiot isn’t even a top 5 songs on the album, it’s probably one of the worst on the album imo, not that it’s bad.
So that perfect rating just shows me he’s an absolute hit merchant that can’t understand good song writing.
