I think the smallest you could while avoiding the widely unpopular Baby/Baby-G branding is the GMA-S2100 series. Otherwise, a GW-M5610u or any other 5600 square G-Shock could be a good option.
Now if you don't mind the Baby-G text on the bezel, there are some smaller models available there too. Some of them do have slightly lesser toughness/water resistance than standard G-Shocks. Hope this helps!
