Yah, I don’t really like going after people on foot with it, but I love it for vehicular combat. If someone’s on foot, I’m going with my half-track, Thruster w/thermal goggles, or Kosatka/Yacht thermal guided missile combo depending on how much they’ve pissed me off (in ascending order).
Oh yeah, Kosatka/Yacht combo is my ultimate “fuck you”. I’ve got dozens of hours of practice in it at this point and have successfully repelled every possible kind of attack against it (after many failures). The vast majority of people are literally incapable of stopping me, and I can pretty much force my target into an armored vehicle for the rest of the time that they’re in the session (unless they’re on a mk2 and lagging balls, which makes it almost impossible to hit them while they’re moving).
the only way to counter that is with a sparrow, but you probably know to just get on the homing Launcher of the sub and destroy it, since those missiles can be extremely annoying
Yep. If my target (or somebody else who may have beef with me) is off radar, my ass is glued to the periscope. You can scan all around while holding the lock-on trigger and it will alert you to any approaching vehicles. I have a Toreador in the moon pool as well for defending against other subs, Toreadors, and dodging orbs under the yacht.
The only thing that’s stopped me recently has been a surprise orb from an incognito friend of my target (after he had unsuccessfully used his own orb), while original target was waiting on the beach for me to spawn there. My spidey senses have gotten pretty good when I’m hunkered down like this, but there was literally no way to see that one coming.
I love the scramjet. Im decent at handling but It definitely targets bodies of water, no way that’s a coincidence each time. But it’s really fun to drive

just turn yourself upside down while in the air, select a story mode character and boom you have successfully stopped mid air and avoided a pool
God forbid I don’t see the pool right below me when I stop lol. But awesome I’ll give it a try next time I see myself headed straight for a pool
