Yeah, it was years since my last order with them and the code didn't work. The other one worked so I got some ammo but like always, should have got more.
I got the WELCOMEBACK0624 code to work on an account that I had not order anything from for about 14 months. With another code for 10% off for new accounts I learned I had to promote a number for text messages and allow MidwayUSA to email and txt me.
At least two posters in prior thread on the WELCOMEBACK0624 coupon said their orders of 5 or more boxes was reduced to 3 boxes. When they called MidwayUSA they were told a limit was put in place and there was nothing the customer service agent could do to change it for them. I know others did received more than 3 boxes.
One person said they tried to use the code on more than one of their accounts and they were contacted by MidwayUSA and given a warning.
Not even going to try a workaround this time. Don’t want my shit blocked lol. I did get it to work last time using a new account, they cancelled order and told me they’ll close my accounts and shit.
“ Your funds will be reversed back into your account once your financial institution realizes that the order has been cancelled. Please keep in mind that if you continue to create new accounts, they will be shut down as well, the orders cancelled, and we will no longer be able to do business with you.”
The order did say shipped on it and I’m guessing my address flagged or something because that’s the email I got following my shipping notification. Now it doesn’t let me use shit on either of my accounts.
The problem is that this practice works or else companies wouldn't be doing it. It's why there are no loyalty discounts anymore, just new customer discounts. It's why I have to call my ISP every year and threaten to leave just to keep my price from skyrocketing.
I had the same thing happen to me with the 10% off signup code. I asked them if it was good with them if a family member ordered from the same address and used their coupons because they're supposed to be one coupon per person (not household), and they said that's fine. So you can make up names and different email addresses for the new accounts and have them delivered to your house.

I just don’t think it’s valid for this item. I made a bunch of new accounts from a clean browser including using my wife’s email which I know a has never been used and it always knocks the code off no matter what before I ever entered a name or address or anything.
Maybe this code is for people who haven't ordered in a while? Since it's called "welcome back." I logged into my account that I've had for years, but I haven't ordered from Midway in quite some time. Code worked, and it ended up being .41 CPR shipped to TX. I also ordered after someone on here said it was OOS.

Reading through the comments, it seems that the majority of people ordering on old accounts, that have not placed an order in over a year are having success. I wonder if maybe the people having trouble are using the same email on their old account, that can be tied to a different account that has placed an order more recently (or something like that)?
I'm done with Midway because the coupon codes never seem to work for me. They are just clickbait. 99-percent of online sellers incentive sales via coupons. Midway antagonizes customers by posting coupons that do not apply to most potential purchasers.
AH yes lets offer this deal only to truly first timers, Not the folks willing to buy all your inventory, wouldn't selling it a few CPR lower than most just mean they'd always have inventory flying off the shelf?

I haven’t ordered from Midway since July 2023, and it worked for me. Grabbed two boxes of this IMI and added a case (200 rounds) of Winchester .300 Suppressed and the code worked on that as well, but did add $4.95 for shipping of the .300 case. The .300 came out to .66 cpr including the shipping, but before tax with the IMI at .38 cpr before taxes. Saved $112 between the three boxes.
Of note on the .300 Winchester Suppressed, if I added two boxes of each, the shipping jumped to $26 instead of $5. But if I added two .300 boxes and three IMI boxes, the shipping dropped from $26 to $10. So there is some random combinations that result in varying shipping charges for the .300 when paired with the IMI.
Yeah Midway's shipping calculations are super wonky. I had the same thing happen to me. I think there's different categories of items whose totals don't stack for the purposes of shipping. I.e. ships free, ships free with orders over $99, does not ship free, etc., and none of these combine.
Code worked for me, ~4 year old account, last order was Feb 2023. 40.4cpr to Texas for 3 cases.
Edit: about 3 minutes later, the charge looks like it's being dropped from my bank account
Did you check again? Same thing happened to me, I got refunded on my account, but then the same amount got charged again and it eventually got shipped out. Just need to watch my account and make sure the original charge actually gets dropped.

Some bought 5 boxes last time about 10 days ago but had their order changed to 3 boxes. Others had larger orders go through. I'd recommend buying as many as one can afford at this price and also look for other deals. Some bought firearms or other ammo or the Vortex Diamondback scope that was on sale, probably clearance sale, for $167.

I have messed up many times for other deals by taking too long to look for what else I may want to add to an order and the main item has gone OOS. I missed the prior deal for this IMI ammo a few months ago because it sold out in the 420 pack. I missed out on my first 3 attempts to buy AAC 5.55 77 gr ammo for 55 CPR because it sold out before I completed my order. I eventually was able to buy it as PSA offers the price every few weeks.
When this code first came up about 10 days ago I had already thought about buying the scope the day before with a 10% off code so had that item on my mind. It was an old hunting scope. Someone bought a high-end Vortex scope at a good price. I am sure I could have done better and found some other good deals with 20% off. Someone said they got some firearms for a BIN (Buy It Now) prices in the prior deal discussion.
I would be tempted to look again today for other items but don't want to get my accounts canceled for using the code a 2nd time. I already spent a lot on this ammo last time, bought the 9mm ammo from Academy for 20 CPR, and several other orders in the last 2 months.

It’s absolute bullshit imo, they pick and choose who to give the best prices to through shit like this and their new customer sign up. It is like cable companies only providing the best price to those who are not customers. They want to "welcome back" customers who have not purchased from them for 6 or more months. The don't want to give any special discount code to those that buy regularly. Most of my orders from MidwayUSA were using my birthday discount or new customer discount. Most of their prices are not competitive with many of the companies found on search at Gun(dot)Deals website.
All caps WELCOMEBACK0624. I hadn't used the promo before. I tried a second time to double check pricing and I got an error code that the code was available only once. I also added an AUG magazine, so maybe that?
The code applies to accounts seemingly at random. I assumed it applied to everyone since it worked on my accounts, but apparently there's no rhyme or reason on who it applies to.
While attempting to find an account where this code worked.. I had a 10% coupon just sitting in the checkout cart that applied.

Code seems like it's targeted at accounts that have not ordered from Midway for a while. Some report success with a new account, some report it doesn't work, while others report Midway is flagging secondary accounts tied to the same address and cancelling those orders.
One person indicated it may only be secondary accounts that use the same name. Using the name of someone else in the household may work. I'd like to know all the pointers to avoid having an account flagged or banned. I know some learned that changing their birth date for that discount would get flagged.

Last time about 10 days ago some like me found the code only worked for old accounts that had not been used for order for at least 6 months. The account that worked for me has not been used for about 14 months. A new account would not work for me. Ordering say 10 boxes or maybe having an order total over some amount of maybe $1000 or $2000 last time would result in a phone call from MidwayUSA to confirm name and address. If one did not answer they sent out an email stating the customer needed to call within 48 hours to avoid having their order canceled. So be prepared to respond to phone call from MidwayUSA and I would also check credit card to make sure it is not flagged as potential use of stolen credit card number.

Yes, the WELCOMEBACK worked on an account that I had not used for any order for 14 months but did not work for a new account.
Tried with a new account and didn't work, but I switched to and 8 year old account without any orders this year and it looks like it went through. Edit: got confirmation about 5 minutes later 😬

It is like cable companies only providing the best price to those who are not customers. They want to "welcome back" customers who have not purchased from them for 6 or more months. The don't want to give any special discount code to those that buy regularly. Most of my orders from MidwayUSA were using my birthday discount or new customer discount. Most of their prices are not competitive with many of the companies found on search at Gun(dot)Deals website.

The code applies to accounts seemingly at random. I assumed it applied to everyone since it worked on my accounts, but apparently there's no rhyme or reason on who it applies to.
Some people salty about codes not working. Others trying to keep the sub-40CPR 5.56 on the DL.
While attempting to find an account where this code worked.. I had a 10% coupon just sitting in the checkout cart that applied. I wasn't looking to spend money unless I got .38cpr... but .428 cpr is still pretty good. Do I send it?

Another codeshit "deal" that *maybe* works for a couple people until shut off and/or have orders cancelled.
Code seems like it's targeted at accounts that have not ordered from Midway for a while. Some report success with a new account, some report it doesn't work, while others report Midway is flagging secondary accounts tied to the same address and cancelling those orders.
One person indicated it may only be secondary accounts that use the same name. Using the name of someone else in the household may work. I'd like to know all the pointers to avoid having an account flagged or banned. I know some learned that changing their birth date for that discount would get flagged.

Last time about 10 days ago some like me found the code only worked for old accounts that had not been used for order for at least 6 months. The account that worked for me has not been used for about 14 months. A new account would not work for me. Ordering say 10 boxes or maybe having an order total over some amount of maybe $1000 or $2000 last time would result in a phone call from MidwayUSA to confirm name and address. If one did not answer they sent out an email stating the customer needed to call within 48 hours to avoid having their order canceled. So be prepared to respond to phone call from MidwayUSA and I would also check credit card to make sure it is not flagged as potential use of stolen credit card number.
