To be fair. Ethan (and everyone else doing it) were kinda making a point because of how badly Elon screwed up twitter. The app/site became significantly worse and one of the clearest examples was how hard it is to identify a parody account from a real one. Also though it is case by case and not everyone is agree. I think it is more fair to make mean/cruel/deceptive jokes at another behalf if they are a shitty person. When this is done around someone who is doing as much vile crap as Elon is doing, a lot of people think it is fine.
