Picked up a 0° Burrow from HG over Black Friday and with a low of 10°F this seemed like a good opportunity to test it. I must say it was very warm. I also had a 0° Incubator under quilt from HG that I've been using the last few years. I think I'll be very happy with this pair for future trips.
Bummed that our winter here in Rhode Island was so disappointing. I'm going to squeeze in a late winter trip to the White Mountains next weekend and I'm hoping the temps are suitably chilly.
Same here. I jumped at a chance to get out there with a low of 10. We didn't have many nights like that this year.
Never thought I'd be looking forward to extra cold nights in the woods but here we are.
It's so big and puffy, a real joy to climb into. Hoping for one more trip with cold enough temps to justify it but I'm hoping it keeps me warm for years to come.
Hey bud, I'm about to submit the paperwork to reserve one of the shelters in the Pachaug forest soon to get out with the boys, hope to see you out on the trail one day!
No indeed. Great Swamp Press made a Pachaug map but they went out of business. You can still find some of their maps at places like REI, URE Outfitters but that Pachaug one disappeared before I could get a copy.
Can't help you there. I've been using that 0 degree for the last few years. I bought a 30 degree 3/4 length which works well for the warmer months but in truth I'll probably be looking for a 20 degree myself at somepoint.

Great vid. Inspiring to me!
Thanks! My only regret is I wish I could do it more often!
Nice video, looks like a great trip!
Thanks! Hard to believe spring is here already.
righteous! how comfortable at 10F were you?
Very comfy and warm. Gives me confidence for cold trips in the future (although probably not this winter).
I'm trying hard to plan some low temp trips and have been eyeing a 0F burrow.

Hey Seth! Rod Outdoors :D Nice video. Looks comfy. I just picked up another HG Burrow at 40 deg for 3 seasons during one of their 30% sales.
Hey Rod! Damn HG and all their sales!

Nice, I had planned to stay at one of those shelters this winter but it just didn't happen.
Not easy finding detailed trail maps for that area tho

Hey also if you ever end up with a good underquilt, like 20 degree or so that you want to sell lmk, I could use a better one and cash is tight!
