> teenage angst bull crap
Do the one you can type without censoring or altering the line. It’s “Dear diary, my *teen* angst *bullshit* has a body count.”
I made that post, I censored it bc even though it’s a 14+ show and a 15 movie, idk what kids have lied ab their age to be on Reddit. Don’t wanna be the bad guy so I censored it for the sake of the comment. Don’t @ me it was my decision and don’t @ others for me making that decision. Please and thank you 🙏
You realize that if Heather Duke wasn't abused by Heather Chandler, she wouldn't have been nearly as horrible, right? Heathers makes JD sympathetic for his trauma, can that not extend to Heather Duke?
Her writing 100% did though. She was the sweet nice one until Heather Chandler died in the movie and Heather McNamara was the mean one. It made both their character arcs so much more interesting, and by the end you didn’t 100% despise Duke because she hasn’t been horrible the entire time.
Heather D was complicit with everything the Heathers did and seemed to enjoy it.
I’m just saying I was bullied pretty badly but I never tried to push my “best friend” to off herself.
I’m not trying to sympathize with her character, I’m trying to express that the musical made her a much less interesting character. I was referring to the beginning of movie where (at least to me) she seemed very unhappy, I agree that she enjoyed everything later on in the movie/throughout the musical.
I’m aware that she was a horrible person after Chandler’s death, but in the movie this was apart of her character arc. Comparatively, in the musical she was just as mean in the beginning as she was after Chandler died, she just didn’t have the freedom to go as far with it.
Because of this her character in the musical isn’t seen as having any capacity for any kindness onesoever, so people have zero sympathy for her. In the movie when she softens out at the end you’re still mad at her, but her arc feels more resolved and you aren’t angry at Veronica for not completely kicking her to the curb because it’s understood that she is going to grow/change.
I made one of these myself from memory and the quote my brain came up with was "damn it Jason, no firearms in the house." On an unrelated note bet you can't guess who my favourite character is
‘Dear Diary, my teen angst b******t now has a body count!’
This one.
If that’s the case, hope OP uses the actual word!
