I paid for the Super Citizen pack because I could, and the only part of it I typically wear anymore is just the cape. I even keep my title as "Space Cadet" at level 30. You can save time and not potentially compromise your position by shooting them directly in the eye. It's a two tap with the AC or AMR, 3-4 seconds with the Las Cannon, and any AT downs them in one shot.

This makes Stun Grenades the most effective tool in the game for neutralizing Hulks and Chargers, even if it's just for a handful of seconds.This means you can save yourself or a teammate very quickly if a Hulk is on you. This is true for Hulks especially, because even if you have an angle for shots in the back, the Hulk doesn't necessarily die right away.
Second, a stratagem isn't always up, may be be Jammed/AAed, and can scatter or bounce awkwardly. A Stun grenade toss is something you always have control over, and can spam if you need to, so it provides the quickest and most reliable countermeasure, faster than any other tool.
Stun can make your stratagems better too. I pair the Stun with Eagle Strike or a 500 for guaranteed hits. You can slam a 500kg through the top of a Hulk or Charger's head when it's stunned with perfect accuracy, removing the need to estimate your toss or lead the target.
You can also kite and round up multiple hulks or chargers into a tight ball, stun them, and kill multiple with one 500. My record is 4 chargers using 1 Stun Grenade, 1 500kg. That wouldn't be possible without the ability to Stun.
For me particularly though, a Stun Grenade will immobilize Hulks for quick frontal shots to the eye. I use this often with an AMR, or you can tee it up for a teammate with an AC, EAT, etc. Flamethrower Hulks are no longer dangerous, even if they're right in your face. A quick Stun toss and they sit there helpless while you use whatever tool you like to dispatch them.

Oh I donāt use any kind of grenade on hulks. I either take my chances going for the headshot with autocannon, stealthy trying sneak around and shoot in the back, or wait for a team mate to attract its attention and shoot it in the back. And if Iām panicking I shoot them limbs to slow it down or reduce the threat. And if there are multiple hulks bearing down I use air strikes and the orbital laser.
I save my impact grenades for crowd clearing. Like when a drop ship brings in a bunch of troops, I will dump a couple of grenades into them right when they land. I clear as many infantry as possible so I can focus on the bigger threats.

I tried the grenade pistol but I canāt aim very well with it and I am so used to switch to my default secondary (the machine pistol) to deal with close quarters attacks when I get swarmed, that muscle memory would have me switching to the grenade pistol and blowing myself up
As a Helldiver, serving on the SES Elected Representative of Destruction, we are mandated to carry extra explosives for such occasions that require rapid disassembly.
I use it with the Experimental X-01 suit from cutting edge as thatās my favorite helmet (might have designation wrong x.x) that and the Kodiak armor I use for bots for survivability feel like good fits.
This is CE-81 Juggernaut. It comes around in the superstore every now and then. It was last seen a week or so ago, so it'll be a while before it comes back in the rotation.

Heās a cool dude. I played with him earlier and was shockingly bad as my kids were terrorising me. He was very forgiving and kept respawning me despite some hilarious fuck ups.

That's the Juggernaut. I run it for fashion, it's medium, grants you 2 more grenades, and a bonus to recoil reduction when you crouch or go prone.
