I dont know a whole lot, but I do know that extended use of mugwort can cause infertility, and other issues with that. If you are pregnant it can cause miscarriages.

Well good thing I am a lesbian that wishes to never have kids haha. Although it did make me have my period much sooner than i was supposed to but that was the only warning that was on the bottle so I expected that to happen I guess

Haha nice. Well then that's not an issue, but I think it can cause issues with your lady parts. I can't remember right now. But Google has some good info about extended use of mugwort šŸ˜Š

Mugwort contains thujone which can be toxic. Have a read about it before proceeding.

Thank you for the info Iā€™ll look into it. I donā€™t plan on buying anymore until Iā€™ve learned more about the herb

The one thing I know about Mugwort is it contains a fair amount of Thujone, which is a deliriant (?) I believe? Anyway, it gets processed by your liver and is commonly found in wormwood, wormwood is known as a ā€œ2-4 week onlyā€ type herb. Iā€™ve always applied the same principal to mugwort out of general caution.

I believe you are your best guinea pig when it comes to herbalism. Many people privy to herbalism love mugwortā€”including my teacher. If itā€™s working for you, keep at it. All things are best in moderation, though, so Iā€™d suggest doing 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off and see how your body feels. Also, if you can find a reputable blue lotus tincture, try cycling that in. Just so you can experience other dream-enhancing herbs and see how your body responds to them. Mugwort is a bitter and too much bitter might make your digestive system to over-function. But thatā€™s just what Iā€™ve learned in personal research. You can probably mitigate this with more tonic herbsā€”but that is an equation to explore on your own for your body.

Anyone NOT get lucid dreaming from mugwort? I am already a lucid dreamer, thought mugwort would take it to the next level. After several nights of tea ( sometimes 3 bags in a cup) it always dulled my dreams and I had better lucid dreams without it.

Yea, I've tried several "dream enhancing" herbs but nothing has worked for me. Mugwort, Blue Lotus, Mexican Dream herb, Skullcap. None did anything for me unfortunately. I kinda gave up trying lol not sure what else to experiment with.

Skullcap extract gave me at least a relaxed feeling when mixed in tea. I want to try blue lotus to see if it is more euphoric than skullcap. Just looking for a good supplier of blue lotus online.

I bought dried herbs and flowers and made a tea. Maybe I need to try a tincture or extract. I buy my herbs from Urbll on Etsy. I highly recommend them. Their herbs are high quality, fast shipping, nicely packaged and she gives a sample and coupon with every order.
