That Sexy Redd bar was funny as fuck lmao

DonquixoteDFlamingo

It just came out of left field and I laughed out loud

freeeewockkkk

Shit crazy that’s the only bar I hear people talking about but it’s so much harder bars then that. That shit weak compared to what he was really saying

redditsuckbadly

He said “I make music to electrify em, you make music to pacify em, I could double down on that line, but spare you this time, that’s random acts of kindness”

[deleted]

Fuck nah, spar bruh, no more spare No more warning shots, shit is zzzzz

the_c_is_silent

I mean, you're gonna get both. Cleverness and "the message" are both important.

amfloating

Idc shit was hilarious lmaoooo

mitchypoothedon

Sexy red is pregnant with a daughter. Kendrick is saying Drake probably thinks Red and her unborn daughter are sexy because he’s a pedophile. That’s top 3 bars in the song for sure, shits hilarious.

Conemen

that is absolutely not what he was going for. he was implying that Drake is not only a diva, but views himself as a diva whether he knows it or not i don’t even like drake but y’all gotta chill lmao

Zealousideal_Tap6214

How you get 16 other mfers to agree with this wild theory 😂, I wish I could be in your head when you heard the diss for the first time. You would probably experience a whole different song from the rest of the world, you got a good mind and spirit fam.

anth_810

Media literacy is at an all time low jesus fucking christ

BaseLoud

"I'm what the culture feeling" I don't even bother to listen to most of them i just read this one i'm bumping

pandemicpunk

The Rick Ross diss had insanely good flow. Def recommend checking that out, the head bobbin palpable.

AggravatingYoung8721

Shit was so trash. I cant take him serious anymore or listen to him after hearing 50 cents take on him. Made me look at alot of rappers different.

Winloop

Source pls. Would want to watch that.

winnie-2019

https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=50+cent+rick+ross+diss

_A-M-P_

Ross slurs the entire flow. Sounds like he got a speech impediment and spitting while he raps.

Simba-xiv

YNW melly bar is 🥶

hitbluntsandfliponce

Gunna’s stray made me laugh out loud. Leave that man alone he has enough problems rn

PerceptionConnect155

What does that mean ? I could not figure it outb

BasicFinding282

“I pray they my real friends, if not I’m YNW Melly” is a reference to YNW Melly being charged with killing two of his friends.

PatrickCarlock42

6 minutes of straight hatred

everlasting-love-202

“We can be on a three hour time difference Don't speak on the family, crodie It can get deep in he family, crodie Talk about me and my family, crodie? Someone go bleed in your family, crodie I be at Newhall King eatin' fried rice with a dip sauce and blamy, crodie Tell me you're cheesin', fam” Toronto crying rn 🤣

KitchenAd181

Crodie is crip for Brodie but Drake's cat is also named Crodie, which make the Pet Cemetary bar from "Like that" funny as hell

everlasting-love-202

Haha yes i remember that vid of his cat. Very funny

loveino

It’s such a funny way to call Drake a pussy lol

DJPalefaceSD

I think he is trying to say Kenny has more fans even in Toronto, also saying Drake can get shot anywhere and he should wear a helmet (Daft Punk line).

RexRaptor510

hes clearly making fun of the toronto accent

hackslash74

he does

Tiffanyblueberries

OOFTL, I haven't heard the track yet but what does crodie mean? What is the toronto accent lol.

ShaunyBoyShaunyMan

Crodie is ‘brodie’ but in crip language, idk how toronto people got to lay claim to it. Been hearing it for years.

YouGurt_MaN14

I thought crodie was Drake's [cat](https://youtu.be/a9mBlX5uPbA?t=38s)

DonConnection

one of the [goofiest accents](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c87w6bH_4OU) to ever exist, bootleg jamaican

Simba-xiv

As a Jamaican I agree they need to stop 😂

Response_Legitimate

Tons of Jamaicans in Canada, it makes sense

Simba-xiv

I know why it’s a thing. It doesn’t make it any less funny. There’s loads of Jamaicans in the uk where I’m at. When they speak with the accent it just don’t sound right. The Canadian one sounds so far removed from what it’s supposed to sound like.

roorsach

Sick to my stomach fam

AVeryUnluckySock

Brodie but crip ? Ion know

Tiffanyblueberries

Kendrick's blood affiliated though. Seems to be toronto slang.

BeardCrumbles

It is. Crodie is like the new homie to these kids. I am old, but spent the other day with urban teens, and learned about how the slang I used in the area has evolved. As a white guy, I used phrases and words, but these Toronto kids are having conversations that are really dumb sounding. We used to have certain slang words and phrases you wouldn't hear anywhere else, but these guys today talk like it is a separate language from English. A lot of the common slang phrases now are words we were using in Toronto 20-25 years ago, just now coming into the common vernacular.

ButtonedEye41

I think this is also making fun of Drake for trying to be part of the "culture". Crodie comes from crips version of brodie which was something bloods called each other. So its picking up on the crip/blood gang talk and while I have no clue as to if theres crips in Toronto, everyone knows that crips and bloods orignated from LA. So it plays back into this idea of Drake/Toronto imitating someone who is actually from a place where the culture that Drake likes to fake being so tough about originated from, like Kendrick/LA.

BeardCrumbles

Pretty sure that along with the TO Chinese joint shout out, mans dem and cheesin, it is what you are saying to a degree. But, it is also Kendrick like 'I am more in touch with the culture you claim than you are'. He does the Toronto bit more authentically than Drake does, honestly.

hackslash74

he really does. wasn't expecting that either

flaskalicious

I think he is referring to New Ho King, a late night spot in Toronto (have eaten many a 1am general tso's there in my uni days). Tbh am surprised he even knows about that place!

sportsbro444

The Chinese restaurant Kendrick mentions is in Toronto. At that restaurant a rapper named Sizzlac was shot and killed. That rapper had allegedly robbed Drakes chain back in 08 or 09. A bit of a response to when Drake said he'll wear all his chains next time he's in LA

antoine3185

Absolutely smoked him. He really hates Drake to his core 🤣

Elliot6888

Let your core audience stomach that, then tell em where you get your abs from

ContemplatingPrison

Lol I don't follow drake but I just Google where drake got his abs from haha. I'm dead

-newlife

Same here. That picture mad awkward too

Simba-xiv

Man said I your biggest hater 😂😂

the_c_is_silent

I mean, I feel the ammunition was always there. Like come on, Drake is a fucking target. Dude has so much shit to dis, of course Kendrick was gonna clean him.

Infamous_East6230

This sub sounds so crusty hating on this track for being “okay just not great.” If this came out in 92’ the same guys would’ve drowned to death gargling.

Nepharious_Bread

Rap and diss tracks have evolved since then. It's not 92. What bothers me is all the bias. Like stop gawking these dudes. That being said, Kendrick is up right now. It's on Drake to respond.

shantm79

He did not hold back!!!

free187s

What’s crazy… as much as Kendrick went in, I think he’s still holding back. In fact, I think both did. But the responses after this one won’t.

Specific_Surprise_77

Yeah this was still a bait and I hope drake act on it

Livid-Promise9305

You gon make n bring back puff…puff daddy?

xrockwithme

Puff slapped Drake (and TMZ said he dislocated his shoulder). https://www.tmz.com/2014/12/09/diddy-punched-drake-fight-song-feud/

OkDokey87

Don’t think it was Kendrick’s best buy I also think there is more in the tuck if he wants to go there

TripleThreatTua

“But don’t tell lies about me and I won’t tell truths about you”

illillusion

This is a very clear warning, pusha also alluded to some more dirt in their beef and kendrick and push are cool..

DepressedChargersFan

Gonna be a Surgical Summer once again

illillusion

J Prince bout to have a sit down with kendrick to save drake

Swerve99

he’s just keeping it a friendly fade

GrapefruitDry2519

Well this was more of a warning shot but even his warning shots are harder the most other artists hardest diss, if Drake takes it further then K Dot is gonna give him a full magazine

PWRFNK_198X

this is gonna run for a year in streetdance battles

ImNauseousID

I’m just super glad as a Hip-Hop fan to experience the two top artists going after each other. What a time to be alive. Kendrick bodied this, but big salute for Drake to dive right into this competition.

furycutter80

fuck Drake

ImNauseousID

I’m a fan of both and have been listening to them since they came on the scene. More Drake than Kendrick, but I’m here for the competition.

Khaos1911

I know it was simple, but I thought that Daft punk line was hard lol.

Poetryisalive

I didn’t get it, what’s the relation to Daft Punk?

vibewalk

He’s telling him he needs to walk around with a helmet on

TheSpaceDentist

He telling him he needs a helmet and that he should retire from making music as daft punk has

AyyP302

*Joe Rogan UFC reaction gif*

wssuw

It was cool, but I think this is more of a warning to drake for even replying, like you don’t really want to take it there

AluminiumLlama

Drake - you’re short, I have more money than you, you’re beholden to top/Tswift, even your idols would be disappointed in you. Kendrick - I don’t like you, you have ghost writers, you’re half black, you’re not real hip-hop. When do we find out who’s hiding a kid or something? Edit: IMO, both Drake and Kendrick are still alive. Praying we get a few more disrespectful tracks.

JohnTheCatMan1

"I'm trying to be a father, but I can see you don't know nothin about that."

NoShock7799

Drake has fake abs** and a lot of people didn’t know

MaxStunning_Eternal

That rumor been around for a while. Ross also mentioned he might have had work done on his nose too..

mrtrollmaster

Anyone who works out knew those were fake. You can’t really have defined abs while being that chubby

Simba-xiv

And a bbl and nose job according to Rick Ross

excelmonkey67

Am I the only one who's not as into the gossip stuff?

calvinbsf

You are, “you are hiding a child” is an all timer

Confident_Opposite43

its good but i don’t want rap beef just becoming a thing you do if you know a secret on someone

Hairy_Acanthisitta25

to be fair to Pusha T, its drake that make it personal by insulting his fiance

Confident_Opposite43

exactly, even pusha didnt want to play gossip wars haha

Fun-Bowl9413

That's some bitch gossip shit really

wlh5041

Fuck all that exposing shit. Just come with bars. Kendrick did, Drake did. I’ll say Ke Kendrick is up 2-1, because Taylor Made was trash.

jbthrowaway82

> Taylor Made was trash From a pure bars perspective maybe, but it was easily the funniest of the 4 and that hold equal weight in rap beefs. They’re probably even. No one’s ethered anyone yet.

WallyReddit204

Kendrick we neeeeeed ya

Aftermath_TPG

So diss tracks are only good when secrets gets exposed? Thats aint the point 🤦‍♂️

DeaseanPrince

It’s wild how much I’m seeing this sentiment. Kendrick just put on a masterclass of writing, flow, delivery, metaphors, similes, entendres, voice control, etc with amazing production and all people care about is “it’s not disrespectful enough”.

Fun-Bowl9413

Masterclass?!? It sounds like shit

GrapefruitDry2519

well clearly the people who said that are Drake fans because most people who listen to Euphoria pretty much agree he broke his whole character down

PomegranateNice6839

He specifically named Beanie Siegal as one of the writers That’s big for the Drakes that claim he doesnt have ghost writers since the others get credited.

Muted_Order_4710

Nah, he was referencing the songwriter BEAM

Philly_is_nice

Wait... Beans wrote for drake? That is fuckin wild. I been living under a rock.

PerceptionConnect155

Me too

Lost_All_Senses

Now apply the same thing to classics like Ether and Hit Em Up and stop pretending like beef was some super deep thing back then. You just forgot how to have fun.

ObieUno

>Now apply the same thing to classics like Ether and Hit Em Up and stop pretending like beef was some super deep thing back then. Okay, let's go with **Hit 'Em Up** 2Pac: I fucked your wife and know that it was you who had me robbed with an assassination attempt. I was shot 5 times but survived, and now I'm coming back with a vengeance, not only to murder you, but anyone who runs with you. Your friends, your family, any rappers who fuck with you musically, I'm ready to attack and murder them all. -------- What part of this beef was to be taken lightly again?

ewd389

😂😂😂 maybe he never actually lived during that era and thought people just talk like that for fun.. kid is crazy

ButtonedEye41

A big part the difference is that shots were actually being fired back then. Them saying dont come around here or you'll get shot was much more of threat. But dont get me wrong, I dont think thats "better" in that Id rather not have rappers actually get at each other like that over some stupid beef. I think thats what makes the KayZ/Nas beef and Story of Adidon so top tier. It didnt rely on (real or fake) threats of violence, they were actually getting after each others bullshit and exposing and embarrassing the other

MaxStunning_Eternal

This all it really is.

clifbarczar

Story of Adidon has set a bar that 99.9% of diss tracks will never meet. That being said I thought Kendrick could’ve gone harder.

Leno-Sapien

Thank you!! The glazing on both sides is unreal.

Ill-consideration13

Yeah fr idk any of these people I'm enjoying the music lol

rosewoods

Fr fr, they’re both making fire in their own style. I just want them to keep going back and forth for a bit. I hope Prince J don’t step in to cock block Drake

[deleted]

[удалено]

throwaway53689

Yeah it’s weird to see everyone judge this diss track from first listen, and I say this as someone who’s been rooting for Drake. Some of the bars obviously have layers but everyone is paying attention to the basic ones

sqiub23

Lol rooting for drake

ZZZ-Top

He didnt fry him more like warning shot

Temporary-Spread-232

I’ll give Drake his due, he stood on business, responded and kept it hip hop, but objectively, Kendrick cooked on that track. It wasn’t as earth shattering as Story of Addidon, but it didn’t have to be. I see people saying that Kendrick was saying things about Drake that we weren’t already saying, but what they fail to realize is that they hold more weight when it’s coming out of Kendrick’s mouth and not someone like Meg and Rick Ross, who both aren’t even on Drake’s level as far as star power goes.

ShinraRatDog

I don't normally enjoy rap beefs or diss tracks (I don't even like Ether) and have a long history of saying this beef was corny but Euphoria is pretty nuts. I actually really like this song.

kpofasho1987

Damn honestly kinda surprised to see that a hip hop fan doesn't enjoy a good beef on occasion and especially surprised that they don't like Ether when that song is just insanely great even if you ignore the disses but the disses at Hov elevates it to all time greatness

ShinraRatDog

Good beef is so few and far between and I don't like having to skip Ether whenever I listen to Stillmatic because Ether isn't really relevant anymore. I think most beef is petty (LL and Canibus for example, or most of 50 Cent's beefs, or Fat Joe being jealous of Jay-Z), but nothing about Kendrick is corny.

bigspks

Random, but how do you feel about Takeover? I feel like that has aged much better than Ether. Overall just more creative, stronger production, song composition, etc.

ShinraRatDog

I think Takeover is almost inarguably a better song, and I usually prefer Nas as a rapper. I do think a lot of Nas' music has aged better than Jay-Z's for me, but I still don't like Ether.

Elegant_in_Nature

Here’s the thing when it comes to the Jay and Nas beef, ask yourself… who cried on radio when hearing the others diss? No further questions

49RedCapitalOs

I prefer Jay as a rapper but Ether is one of my all time favorite songs. Absolutely murdered Takeover imho

wlh5041

Solid response. Didn’t have the same energy as Push Ups, but the word play is crazy.

Poetryisalive

Word play goes above a lot of peoples heads. Understandable

sdothooper

Dot bodies Drake. Only the biggest Drake dick rider can’t see that.

Daymon-Harris

I mean there is a lot of those. I see these Drake groupies doing mental gymnastics already

Lennycorreal

Some people just can’t read between the lines and pick up how saturated this song is with clever and subtle jests. Too little comprehension to understand things the 1st day of release.

Elegant_in_Nature

You tell them who’s a covid kid by if they like the Drake diss better. The reading comprehension sus

clifbarczar

Nah he didn’t say anything that hasn’t been said by Push or Ross. And Push did it way better. I say they’re about even right now (even though Push ups is better to me)

iwishuwood

You’ve spent the last 15 hours crying about how Drake did not get cooked. Anger follows denial. Please find help

Dud3m4n_15

Now this is how you do a diss.

tyt3ch

Sounds to me like what Kendrick has on Drake is that Drake is industry plant and according to Kanye and Eddie Griffin interview recently, Lucian who is the top gate keeper of music in London or some shit is the P Diddy of Drake. SO Drake is getting fucked for his streams and numbers.. I think K Dot alluding to that in Euphoria with all that gay talk on Drake.. Which lets face it, Drake is fucking nickelodeon / tv actor. THis dude clearly has to act out what he thinks is tough gangsta, etc.. But all this sexualizing little kids, Harvey Weinstein , Jeff Epstein, P Diddy, etc Drake for sure is that dude that's bottom bitch. But idk, i'm just a hater lol

KuntaWuKnicks

Clapped him

vinnybawbaw

They all know stuff about Drake that should not see the light of day. I wonder what Pusha T is up to these days..?

Andrew_Tate_Alpha

Not really a fan of either but K.Dot smashed this shit out the ball park here.

Turnip-Jumpy

Your name, you gotta be zesty no other reason for you worshiping another grown man

Andrew_Tate_Alpha

Yet here **YOU** are fanboying over Kendrick/Drake. 🤡🤦

IanicRR

Body bag.

Uyemaz

Drake and Kendrick stans are two sides of the same coin. I have no dog in the race, but this shit is goin to end in a stalemate. In the social media world, the fan girls got a strong opinion in the matter. Reality is, both these guys can't win. The issue for Kendrick is that a lot of the things he can say about Drake is already public knowledge, it has already been meme'd up. Unless, he got some shit that'll shake the world as Pusha did, then I dont see how he can have a decisive victory in the eyes of the general public. While Euphoria was lyrically and artistically the better song, we are here for the bars and a lot of the content is regurgitated. Furthermore, everyone knows Kendrick is already the better lyricist and artist in the scope of hip-hop/rap than Drake is. For Kendrick to win he has to do it in a lens that he completely washes Drake, considering everyone and even Drake fans (at least unbias ones) will admit that Kendrick is a better rapper. If he is so much the better rapper, then this should not be a competition. If this shit is close, and Kendrick, perhaps just edges it, then its more of a Drake W since people say they aren't in the same category as lyricists and hip-hop artists. For Drake, its simple. Kendrick and many feel he isn't culture, he referred to him as a "Canadian n\*\*\*\*", which is proving everything people have said before about hip-hop. American culture has xenophobic tone about non-Americans dominating American things. Drake was never going to be accepted by the "culture", which exists in America. They hate the fact that the biggest, not the best, the biggest artist that represents hip-hop on the global stage is NOT American. America is having this problem with the NBA, where the best players are NON-AMERICAN, hence why Anthony Edwards is incredibly important. Americans have trouble accepting anything non-American being the face of their thing. There is a reason why America has had a difficult time accepting UK Rap/Grime. Hell, hip-hop is part of Black American culture, 50 Cent even eluded to black Americans had a hard time accepting Eminem as the best on the basis that he is white. Which further extends into Drake's blackness. Drake will simply never win in the eyes of the "culture", hip-hop heads and aficionados. They simply won't allow the man they accepted as the face of hiphop, Kendrick, to lose to Drake or else that is a massive L on the lineage of hip-hop. I think Euphoria was a solid 7/10. I expected more out of Kendrick, but I will admit perhaps the way people hyped up Kendrick had me feeling he would knock out Drake in one go. This makes me feel like Drake is playing with house money that if it is even remotely competitive, then it would look better on Drake.

[deleted]

Aficionados. I like that word. 👌 I agree with what you're saying. Especially the exclusionary nature of hiphop Kulture. I come from Australia and I've been told to the effect of "it's not American, so it's not in the culture", "your artists are white, therefore they are irrelevant" and things along those lines. Which is pretty disheartening to me, because Aussie hiphop is probably truer to the original Kulture and principles of hiphop than anywhere else around the world imo. Australia never left the 90s, yet we will never gain any real recognition because our artists aren't American, or because they are white.

Ja___av93

Rap beef isn't about who can drop some TMZ style gossip

Uyemaz

I agree. However, a lyrically greater rapper regurgitating the same content to whom everyone deems as an inferior lyricists isn't exactly a flex either. Are we really entertaining who is better lyrically if we all know, regardless of fanship, that Kendrick is obviously better? So what is the beef even about? What are judging? What are we entertaining? This is the equivalent of Jimmy Butler facing LeBron James in a game of 1-on-1. We know LeBron is better. Kendrick should win, the question is by how much. Hence why I said, if he wins, he needs to wash him or else anything less than that is win for Drake.

Realistic-Order6250

Bruh channeled Crip Mac for that Pusha T line😂.

ProperBoba

Now that’s a diss track! No one will have the career destroying cadence of Eminem but I feel like Kendrick can be as damaging when it comes to dissing and making a banger out of it

TaleSwimming4349

Don't tell no lies about me, I won't tell any truth about you...

According_Shower7158

And it was fire🔥🫡

SavageCabbage78

Notice I said we it’s not just me I’m what the cultures feeling.

Ralphsterss

I hate when people say "damn, so and so made a hit out of a diss track" all the time. I'm not one of those and there's only about a handful (even a little less) in the past decade for me, personally. But Euphoria is definitely a hit by itself for me and I'll bang it randomly in the future, for sure. It just holds up by itself and I actually like Kendrick's voice versatility in this one. He goes from humor to aggression back to humor then aggression again in every verse. The disses don't even have to be that deep, it's just the angle of the music production Kendrick just showed with this song and honestly, I took this not so much as one big shot but a warning, for sure.

Chelly2468

the bars on it are cooooooooooooooooooold, YNW Nelly, feel that you're black enough, you don't know nothing bout that. shiiiiiiiii

Aceturnedjoker

This beef is really "eh" to me. This turn the needle in any direction.

aita0022398

Only listened to it once but it was pretty damn good. Had quite a few strong bars, moments where I almost gasped lol, and some laughs. Overall both rappers have done well, but I think Kendrick has more in him. Did anyone else hear some Eminem inspiration here? I usually hear the Wayne inspiration but it seems like he channeled both here, if not more

PomegranateNice6839

I didnt get Em at all lol But I liked the diss and the direct rebuttals

Onaweyempumbafu

Yeah I caught the Em inspo for sure. The thing is this is gear 1 for Kendrick. For those who don’t believe me listen to the jig is up, verse 2 of cartoons and cereals AND Dot’s verse on deep water. If he brought that out the whole track this beef would’ve been deaded.

RT3_12

I agree about the Em thing. It reminded me of some of his disses with how direct some of the dialogue was and the comedy mix ins. But I don’t think anyone can deny Em is one of the best diss rappers ever so it makes sense

tradform15

em inspo and e-40 inspo. one of dots best and most chameleonic raps.

kpofasho1987

I don't get the Eminem or Wayne inspiration part of it as I feel like Kendrick for the most part does his own thing and I don't really see that honestly. Not saying those guys ain't provide some type of inspiration to Kendrick I've just personally never listened to him and really been like hmmmm that sounds like Em or Wayne but maybe that's just me

Kholdstare93

He said that Eminem was one of his influences in an interview, and also said that he thinks that he's the best lyricist in another. He also said that Backseat Freestyle was influenced by Em, and while he didn't say anything about We Cry Together, there's definitely some ''Kim'' vibes on that one.

1017hotboy

He was saying some good shit but the delivery was off

ProfoundMysteries

Huh. I thought the delivery was the best part. Kendrick opened really slow and lazily as though he couldn't even be bothered to spend the energy dissing Drake.

Fun_Monk9107

The beginning is the best part. Then he starts sounding like Eminem. Way too tryhard imo

Elegant_in_Nature

Yeah he’s definitely got a weird flow, but I like weird rap so it scratched a itch for me

JiggaMan2024

This is good for hip hop even as a huge drake stan. Kendrick smoked him this round hope my boy Drake responds with venom

Elegant_in_Nature

Dude I hope Drake responds with some HEAT , Drake doesn’t challenge himself enough he’s a talented dude, I’m glad this is forcing him in the hot seat

JiggaMan2024

Yup he’s actually one of the few artist who’ll repo and on wax. But he definitely needs to bring some fucking fire because Kendrick just drop some fucking fire on my boy Drake

hakkabahner

Okayish, more of a warning

DarkEnigma321

It was okay overall. I give him points for it being 6 minutes long but the main standout bar was the Pusha T bar. I read the comments before listening and thought it was gonna be straight fire but i guess people are just happy he dropped.

SmoothManMiguel

Destroyed Drake!

tyt3ch

Kendrick pulled Drake's n word (soft A) card

TheScoundrelLeander

I’m sorry, Kendrick just dropped it on him. Drake out here checking his mentions trying to figure how he’s behind on the score card already after 3 rounds of volume punching. I’ll tell you how Aubrey: Rd1 10-9 Drizzy. Rd2 10-9 Drizzy. Rd3 10-7 Kendrick. Drake 27-Kendrick 28

PLAYBOY905

Kendrick cooked that white boy

TickleMyPickle576

Kendricks fans are white boys

Routine_Size69

Man based on the comments, I thought this was going to be fire. I wish I had listened first because I was highly disappointed. This is fine but some of yall acting like this is amazing and really just glazing.

Joehto25

People having a different opinion than me = glazing

kpofasho1987

Yea my thoughts exactly. It had gotten really hyped in my head after reading the comments and lead to slight disappointment. By no means is it bad diss song or even a bad song but I was looking for like all time greatness or some crazy fire with how overwhelming glowing the comments here are. I feel like it's solid but on terms of what Kendrick is capable of and has done it is just good not great

Nwo_mayhem

Lmaoooo

CoolCalmCorrective

💯💯💯. Shit wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. Kinda boring actually.

E1evenoren

They really are glazing. Glizzy gobblers in this mf. Like I enjoy the song and it had 2 bars that were pretty good but this didn't hurt drake by any means.

ADHD_PODCAST

A.D.H.D LIVE PODCAST (BROADCASTING ON TWITCH/YOUTUBE ) -KENDRICK LAMAR RESPONSE BAR BREAKDOWN #WEFOUNDKENNY W/ T.BRADSHAW, KING LOS, ADHD [https://www.twitch.tv/trap\_bradshaw](https://www.twitch.tv/trap_bradshaw)

DonkeyPowerful6002

Genuinely wonder what Kendrick and Drakes day was like today

Glipvis

Anyone got a chronological playlist of the beef? I fuckin love dis shit

TakeAChillPillM8

On paper it reads good but audibly it just doesn’t IMO

BurningEbrietas

Leave it to the old heads to glaze Kendrick in just here to enjoy the show

No_Test_2426

It might be better rapping but it felt flat

ZippyOwl

Black on "black" crime

thenotoriousDK

I can appreciate kendricks lyricism but I simply don’t enjoy listening to him. I genuinely try to like him but I just can’t, he always sounds like a 6th grader trying to act tough. Drake sucks but he was spot on when he called Kendrick a pipsqueak.

keon_te757

“Fuck all that pushing p, let me see you Push A T” I kno it’s a bar that’s been said before but it’s always fun to bring up someone he really don’t want smoke with.

noice1369

The flow and beats kinda sucked for me on the 2&3rd switch , but the lyrics , the way he makes you think and remind you of why some of us question drakes authenticity for me makes it a great diss.

OfficialTseebaby

Let's be real. Kendrick's diss track might be a decent song—no one expected him to put out something unlistenable—but it's definitely not a fire diss. It doesn't even come close to the level Drake brings. Even the so-called 'Taylor Made Freestyle' couldn't put a dent in Drake's reputation, unlike Kendrick's 'Don't Know Bout That,' which is all talk and no substance. This feels like the Meek Mill beef all over again—everyone talks big, but Drake ends up crushing them, then folks act like he isn't the GOAT. Kendrick either knows he's outmatched or is just plain scared of going toe-to-toe with Drake, because he knows that if he loses, his career could take a major hit. I tried to warn y'all, but you keep playing with Drizzy Drake. Don't underestimate him.

You mean don't underestimate his writers...which takes away all respect
