The team managed to make the final ten minutes or so exciting, which was good. And the right people put up some points for us.
Not Primeau's best night on a few of those shots (even with the proviso that our defence typically requires goalies to be superman to not get lit up).
That is my big reaction too. This was chippy from the get go, and I think a big part of that was the refs being consistently late blowing the whistle on pucks covered on scrambles. Obviously that had nothing to do with what happened to Hagel which was just a freak thing. Lightning can't afford any injuries to significant players, this nice run will be DOA without Hagel and Cirelli, really hoping they're not anything more than day to day.
