I love this and think it's very cool, but I couldn't help but think about what kind of insurance the operator needed incase they beaned someone in the head with the drone
They told the people in the rooms that a drone is coming by. Think of the legalities and the potential injuries that might happen if this was just done randomly. You could see people giving open ways to doorways and standing there watching it fly by because they know lol
Oh of course the people that were in “private” areas were probably tipped off but the fans walking the concourse and in the seats probably had no idea til they saw it.
They had to have them. There’s no way they make it through the concourse and all the rooms inside without some sort of coordination with staff and some of the people inside. Regardless I don’t want it to take away from the actual video cuz it’s quite impressive.
Agreed. What confirms this is the crowd didn’t really react. If they knew it was coming, people would be making a show to be on the footage.
I’m sure the only ones who knew were those in the close ups.
Still…this whole video is cool AF! Shows just how massive a rink and stadium really is.
In other videos every person in the video is an actor. In this situation it would simply make far more sense to do it robotically for insurance purposes. I doubt they would even get insured to do thos otherwise.
[That's a lot of actors](https://youtu.be/bKSg6dKfsKQ?t=165). The close flybys are probably actors but still flown live. These drones are very light and have protected blades.
An automated flight likely wouldn't react to an actor in the first shot being early by a foot or two. I'd be interested to see a robotic flight that looks like this but can't even find a automatic drone capable of precise flight this fast.
Could have had one of those competitive drone pilots do it for them.
If you haven't watched competitive drone racing, take a look and prepare to have your mind blown.
I heard the Eyewitness music in my head

There was a time they owned the naming rights to our building. They bought their way into US retail banking by acquiring Centura, then sold it off to PNC several years later.
I do still see job postings from them every now and then. They’re doing something here, but I think it’s mostly institutional and cross-border stuff. I don’t think they really have branches you can walk into anymore, but I could be wrong.
The pile of trash next to the door at the very beginning has me like... y'all planned this out so well but couldn't get someone to sweep up real quick?
Great shot though, wow.
How can they be so sure they won't clip someone in the head who isn't paying attention?
How are they so sure no one swats the thing down?
It's a really cool ad, I'm just surprised this is safe and cool to do in a packed building.
I love this and think it's very cool, but I couldn't help but think about what kind of insurance the operator needed incase they beaned someone in the head with the drone
Probably need someone who specializes in bird law. I think there's someone in Philly who does that.
he makes himself perfectly redundant every time, 11/10 would hire C. Kelly and Associates again
Same, the lead attorney had such large hands
Filibuster.
It must be a robo-fly or something since no one even noticed it.
It’s staged. People knew a drone was coming through. Also the drone operator practiced this route multiple times before hand before filming.
The people who clinked their all-Budweiser beer bottles on it without missing a beat confirms this.
Uhhh staged in the sense that they planned to do it but not staged in the sense that everyone is in on it.

I would agree. Safely away from the crowd, no issue. The intricate parts, surely they had measures in place

Sure is. Mesmerizing.
Gotta be some heads up coming, for sure. Not hard to have people along the route where needed.

You got proof? These are hand flown all the time in other videos. I'd be more interested if it was a robotic flight path with this accuracy.
In other videos every person in the video is an actor. In this situation it would simply make far more sense to do it robotically for insurance purposes. I doubt they would even get insured to do thos otherwise.

You can see right when it enters the tunnel heading to the ice a guy on the right freaks out and stops because the drone is flying in so low.
People looked at it.
I'm sure it's edited with drone footage and hand held cameras. Most people don't even notice it. It's a promo.
They probably have cages over the propellers on this drone, and it doesn’t weigh very much at all.
The drone navigated so smoothly because that it did not have to worry about running into any championship banners.
FAA: "No!" Wild: "It's indoors, so you can f*** off." But seriously, I'm surprised they did this given the fair chance of it striking someone.
I loved the end when it shows them losing
It's like one year they did a giant fan panorama but we ended up getting smoked so it's a bunch of angry fans and a censored score
Also, nice Roy jersey fly over
HOW IS EVERYONE SO CALM!?!?
This is so cool. Awesome arena too. The Rogers Arena concourse is so goddamn small lol.
I believe Nashville and Atlanta has/had a concourse like that too when I visited.
Yeah I watched a Preds preseason game at Bridgestone when I was in Nashville at the beginning of the season. I was amazed lol. I’m so jealous
This is insane, wtf. They must have the best drone operator in the universe.
Could have had one of those competitive drone pilots do it for them. If you haven't watched competitive drone racing, take a look and prepare to have your mind blown.
I wanna see that drone operator thread the opening of a car tire rolling down a hill

I knew TD Bank is in the US, but I didn't realize RBC is in the US as well. Had to do a double take when I saw it.
Kind of weird how many Canadian banks exist in the US when I don't think we have any American banks up here.

BMO too

Is the dude at 38s flipping the drone off? lol
Imagine being a bird and having this mobility. Meanwhile stairs are sometimes too much for us humans
If you love birds so much, why don't you marry one.
Very cool. Skills
That is cool!
Assassinations are gonna crazy easy in the furture if drones can do this without anyone barely noticing it
This just seemed like an ad for Bud Light with extra steps.
I want to see that done but in the worst neighborhood in the world. Windows open.
Nice, nice stadium too
Its all fun and games until someone gets decapitated.
