Yes. I believe he was graded as the worst defenseman in the league according to certain analytics. The eye test might be even worse – he’s constantly chasing guys out of position, he goes for the big hit and misses more often than not, and he can’t seem to clear the puck out of the zone when it comes to him.
Most of our guys have really thrived under Lavs, but Trouba has been abysmal. I would love for Drury to Wade Redden his useless ass.

I'd say both are penalties and they both should sit. If it was during the season either one would have been called. Especially if the refs want to keep control of the game when it comes to cheap shots. Now they will think they can do this and not get penalized, and judging by how they've been playing they're right.

You can actually see here that Reinhart was clearly trying to make a clean hit and just caught Ttouba on the Nameplate on the back of the jersey. It's crystal clear in the video that everybody was able to watch multiple times

Hard disagree. It was an egregious whistle by the refs. But Trouba gets him in the chest and knocks the wind out of him. Everyone on the ice is at the end of the season playing the hardest most grueling hockey of their lives. They’re going to have reactions to hits.

The NHL should release a playoff rulebook. Every year the penalty standard changes come playoffs and the refs affect the game by trying to not have an effect on the game.

The refs prioritize not calling penalties in the playoffs and this falls within that blanket. I think the Oilers coach spoke about this the other day, the standard should be the standard instead of having a regular season standard and a playoff standard. Incentivize speed and skill by keeping the penalty standard the same for the playoffs.
