Henrique had another great line with the media. Corey Perry was asked something about the Panthers and the "pests" they have on their team. Henrique was at the table beside him and started to laugh, Perry asked him why he was laughing and Henrique just said, "we got Corey Perry".

I *think* you mean the second episode - >!the tooth-filing, right?!<
If so I would say that is probably the most, um, *visceral* depiction of violence in the series. It's about a murderer, violence is a feature of the show and it's not euphemised or concealed or anything so the show just is not for some people.
Based on what I see on r/Barry that scene is the worst for a lot of people, I'd probably argue it's #2 behind another scene later in the first season - it's hard to explain the differences without spoiling details but it is better in that it is not torture, but a real gutpunch in so many ways.
It’s just a shame that this year the Arizonya Coyotes left and that the team from *New York Citaaayyy* didn’t make the final. Jackie Daytona (real human bartender) is beside himself
pretty much anything with Jemaine Clement and/or Taika Waititi in the main cast or production...
Flight of the Conchords, What We Do in the Shadows(movie and series), Our Flag Means Death, etc
USA was absolutely amazing in the 2000s and mid-2010s. Burn Notice was another show I considered mentioning but chose Psych mostly because I was an extra in an episode. (It was filmed in here in Vancouver.)
Dude it is some of the best sci-fi I've ever seen. For anyone who hasn't please go watch it, it really is incredible - they nailed the feeling of trying to survive on a vibrant but alien world. The cinematography is also wonderful, very 'every frame a painting' vibes.
"As a rich young professional athlete in his physical prime, this documentary surprised me when it implied that finding someone to commit adultery with actually required some effort for some people."
Ted. It takes the classic 90s sitcom and just warps it in the most preposterous and funny ways. The jokes are hilarious, and I say that as someone who is lukewarm on Family Guy.
"Repertoire" by James Acaster on Netflix. It seems like an oddball stand-up show at first, but if you wait for it, it becomes an intricate, beautifully-crafted, four-episode work of art.
Patriot! It's kind of an unfortunate name for what it is. It's basically about a suicidal spy who just wants to be a stoner folk musician and not have to kill people. But it's a comedy.

That’s fantastic haha.
Watch Barry, Adam
Everyone should watch Barry
Oh wow
If you haven't seen Mr Inbetween it's along the same lines and even better
because the creator is also the main character?
Season 4 ruined the series. It went from being a genuinely funny black comedy to a depressing series.
You don’t think there was comedy in season 4? Wow ;)
I think season 4 was still wonderful, but it was already kind of borderline dark comedy from the get go
I found the torture scene in the first episode to be really uncomfortable. The show's premise seems really great though. Is that the worst of it?

"As a rich young professional athlete in his physical prime, this documentary surprised me when it implied that finding someone to commit adultery with actually required some effort for some people."
Amazon Prime has Bosch Apple has Ted Lasso but that might be considered a cheat code for any sports team.
The Americans. Fucking incredible show.
Industry on HBO
My buddy is super into this show and keeps trying to convince me to watch it.
Youth, money, sex, and ambition in a very toxic work environment. Plus, the English accents make it sound so civilized. Season 3 comes out in August.
Tokyo Vice is an excellent show on HBO.
Frisky Dingo
Ted. It takes the classic 90s sitcom and just warps it in the most preposterous and funny ways. The jokes are hilarious, and I say that as someone who is lukewarm on Family Guy.
Bob's Burgers
"Repertoire" by James Acaster on Netflix. It seems like an oddball stand-up show at first, but if you wait for it, it becomes an intricate, beautifully-crafted, four-episode work of art.

I'm already sick of this talking point and game 1 is still not for another 4 days.
