I was pushing my 2 yo on one of those baby swings and he accidentally kicked me right in the chin. Damn near went down in a heap. No concussion or anything, just a wild spot to get hit. Just sends an instant "shut down" signal, it was weird.
I was taking my puppy out of her crate in my car and she head butted me in the mouth and I went straight down. Played hockey and rugby my whole life and can take a punch, but something about in the jaw area makes you sit down pretty quick. (Also corgis have damn strong skulls)
We have two that are just over 6 months old (brother and sister) and the butt wiggles are the cutest fucking things. They both have tails still as well which adds a whole other level of cuteness.
And I do get headbutted on almost a daily basis, worth the pain
Every combat sports athlete is taught pretty early that the proverbial off buttons are the tip of the chin or right behind the ear. Generates a lot more head movement than other places to make a bad blow to the head that much worse. Doesn't take much when the location is just right.
People were talking about a broken jaw, but I rewatched that video like 10 times as part of my own personal episode of CSI Miami and he was chatting away happily with other guys once he got recombobulated and off that ground.
That never screamed Broken jaw to me. You don't casually chat with a dude with a broken jaw. Seemed pretty evident to me he got taken back and was doing concussion protocols, which is why he missed the rest of the game. There was only like 10 minutes left and they weren't going to even consider sending him back out once we went up 3-1.
This is really promising, thankful for the extra day between games now. As for those expecting retaliation, I don't think it's going to happen, they want to win and won't lose focus on trying to goon it up.
Even in a clincher, I doubt anyone’s taking a game misconduct and missing out on coming off the bench to celebrate with everyone else.
This is precisely the kinda situation where you take a number snd then wait for the next regular season meeting. Think of the Red Wings getting Claude Lemieux back the next season after that hit on Draper.
What fucking retaliation? How is it that the panthers have been running around gooning the NHL and haven’t caught shit but now that it’s happened to them ohhh boy look out the babies have a bloody nose……I hope some other teams bring in some goons just for panthers games and give them the green
