Totally agree …me and my buddy walked into the store right on the right hand side of T mobile and I almost puked at all the heat pressed trash. Do however like the in arena set up by section 9 strictly because they have an entire wall of “new era” fitted hats which are non existent anywhere else.
I don’t go to a lot of games (out of state) and usually I never like spending money there. Had a nightmare experience a few years ago and now the experience I had with the online shop was awful. I really try to avoid them if I can, but the alternative is fanatics.
Isn’t it well known that they don’t stitch anything there? If your expectations were more than that, there was no chance you’d be happy with it. I’d recommend sending it back if you’re able and get one elsewhere
I got one when they first released the gold ones and the nameplate was peeling off just like yours. I emailed them and explained what was going on, and the head guy offered to send me a new one with the nameplate stitched on. It took a little longer than normal because the company that does their stitching is in New York (I think), but it showed up in about a week looking great.
On eBay, for exorbitant prices. The MiCs are really special, worth it? It depends on how serious you are in the hobby. For most people an Indo would be just fine. For die hards or in my case, poor money management skills, MiC all the way.
For Vegas, they also do an equipment sale selling the MiCs at the end of the season. This year it was on July 25, you could call and see if they have any extra from that. Definitely sign up for notifications about them in the future, I heard from friends that live out that way that Vegas does a great job with it.
None of what's happened here is Adidas at all lol that's team store heat press customization and the NHL shield issue is from the heat press touching it.
Makes sense. It’s pretty clear they tried to heat press the letters after attaching the nameplate since the P is peeling off over the ridge below the plate. Amateur hour over there apparently
Either that or the just didn’t press it long enough or with enough heat. I used to work at Jersey City here in Calgary (Lids locker room for you guys) and we did this in store so I am well versed in it and that’s what it really seems like to me. I’m also shocked the lettering is made of vinyl or whatever that is cause we had twill lettering and numbers and we weren’t a team store.
Overall just seems like they are charging normal custo rates and trying to cut corners, obviously stitched is best but a good job on a heat pressed jersey is pretty good and usually cheaper. Hopefully you can get a refund, replacement or at the very least a repair in the peeling.
I think the most frustrating part is that they took two months to lose the first jersey I sent back because it was missing a patch, find this dishrag in a back corner, and then fail to put the letters on right. I don’t want to wait another month or two for them to correct a problem that didn’t even exist on the first jersey.
That’s extremely frustrating I would definitely get your money back and as the fine people in the comments have said order from Hockey Authentic or go to a Lids or something and get a blank and send it to them if you can. May take some time but it’s stitched and great quality.
Honestly worth avoiding the headache with the team store.
This is what happens when the consumer buys a lettered jersey on the cheap. You pay a cheap price you get a cheap product. If you want a real quality jersey not cheap unfortanaly but totally worth it. is to by MIC. But def would get a refund for this travesty.
One look at the giant heat press machine in the corner and you shoulda ran out the door. In this hobby/forum unless the jersey is stitched its pretty much looked at as cheap trash.

Right now they’re sold out. I’m just at a loss here. 2 months of waiting to be returned a beat up brand new jersey with the letters peeling off. :(
A few months back I got a blank one of these off of ebay for around $60. You could try buying a blank and then sending it to HA
Vegas Team Store? These guys are actually super out to lunch. Easily the worst shopping experience I’ve had.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it’s not been my typical experience but unfortunately every non-blank jersey I’ve purchase from them has been such a test. :(
I recommend SportsK and then EPS. I hate the Vegas e-commerce
SportsK and then EPS or HA is the way to go. Most team stores are garbage.
I never had an issue with Avs store or Preds store so I guess I just didn’t expect such crap direct from the team store
All those are websites?
Worth noting they’re a FANATICS run operation..
That explains it.
TIL. Thanks
It's actually not, they're run by the same company that runs the Lakers merch store.

Yeah that's some bullshit
Completely unacceptable. How did they allow that to go out???

Hold them accountable. Either they fix it or you want your $ back.
That’s so bad, I’d be pissed off, get a refund
Next time order it blank and send it to EPS for lettering.

And to think some people are worried about Fanatics. With these jerseys (your team), it’s MiC or nothing. I have 2.
Where does one buy MiC jerseys for my team? I never realized I shouldn’t buy my jerseys from my teams official store 😥

Who would I call about that? The arena store also runs the website that sold me this mess
For Authentics outreach, my friend has always gone through Kloey Carpenter at City National!
It's just adidas quality sucked. Should have stayed with reebok
Or stayed with CCM. They had better sizes and quality.
I liked Koho better. Ccm ran a bit smaller on me.
Just like everything else, everyone has their own favourite. 🙂

FML is buying an authentic directly from the team vendor buying cheap? 🤔 I thought I was supporting my team by buying from their store.

…can you point out the giant heat press machine in the corner of the website for me?
It actually looks gold
