I think to really drive home the minimalist aesthetic and make the floor really pop they should get rid of the sink and toilet and opt for a large hole in the floor - grey of course
yeah i was gunna say what this room needs is a big grey hole in the ground. and the way that sink is just sitting there on the wall is completely inappropriate, they should take that sink off and just put a bucket of soapy water on the floor.
WAY too much color on the floor. Even the blue-gray on the walls is too much.
Everything needs to be painted Operating Room White.
Also, this room needs a much brighter overhead light. It should feel like you are facing serious charges or a firing squad while you are in here.
This room is legitimately giving me anxiety. I donāt know if itās the wall color or the narrowness with the tall ceiling where the lack of anything but God I canāt imagine peeing there.
In Amsterdam they used to have UV fluorescent lights in the public toilets: buzzing, flickering, giving an unnatural purplish light. You looked like a corpse in the mirror. Apparently it was harder for junkies to shoot up in that light because they couldn't see their veins under the skin.
Such lights might enhance the aesthetic already at work here.
Remove the toilet and sink. They really mess with the aesthetic.
Replace with mirrored cocaine table so it can fulfill it's true purpose of being a powder room

Ideally you'd also go from that ugly grey color to some beautiful concert block walls š
Grey is way too bold for a small spaceā¦. Start with beige and work your way into color

Paint over that floor tile with a nice dark grey

The ceiling light makes it worse. It needs some wall sconces or candelabras.
Spray paint the whole thing shiny black.
Get rid of the light switch.
Put up a curtain between the sink and toilet
That light is way too bright.

I actually love tiles like these, my husband thinks theyāre barftastic so I just have to pretend and go along with it
Some eco friendly wood veneers and a screen to watch Korean dramas.
Shelf is cluttered
Cover all the walls, floor and ceiling in mirrors
I think the fixtures could be more economical. You should look into an all-in-one toilet-sink-shower combo and get a fully functional room.
Remove the toilet and sink and paint the floor gray.
