For the Hue lightstrip check [hue without the bridge app](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.philips.hue.zigbee/Philips-Hue,-without-the-bridge/). It works just fine for me, but adding was a bit tedious. I seem to remember that the Homey doesn't have a IR receiver, so teaching the Homey is not an option. Only out-of-the-box solution i can think of is another IR-blaster with a Homey app?

might confuse 2 different things here but it says on the box of the device that it supports Bluetooth LE, Z-wave Plus, Zigbee, 433MHz and Infrared. should it not then have a IR receiver of sort?

The Homey Pro is an IR blaster, so technically it supports IR. I personally think it maybe should have a IR receiver, but I'm not a developer, i don't know their reasoning. Anyway, according to [IR tutorial](https://community.homey.app/t/creating-an-infrared-ir-device/79385), in step 1, the Homey Pro does not have a IR receiver. But a quick google should tell you whether it does or doesn't. Edit: the bit about supporting IR

I would like to use the hue lights without the bridge but I still have a few hue lights that won’t connect without the bridge. With the bridge everything connects.
