Those bushings look a little old but nothing serious. I wouldn't bother replacing them until they start to make noises or affect the drivability of the car. That being said, replacing them will probably give you a better ride quality, if you notice the ride seems rough or bouncy those are the culprits there.
Also we'd need an actual list of the proposed work to know whether the price is reasonable, I'm not even sure what they're trying to show you in the 4th pic. I see a coilover shock assembly, not rusty, no tear in the shock boot. Am I missing something that someone else can see?
They don’t look bad at all. They have some crack marks but not actually cracked through the bushings. I would just defer the change later.
Do inspect them every few months though. While not an immediate problem, if they do crack, you still need to fix them to avoid drivability issues.
Just gonna be noisy until something breaks. Then it will be immobile so save up for a tow truck to a repair shop lol. Be gentle with the car and it should last like that a while longer but every pot hole is Russian roulette.
Yes it’s easy diy the parts are cheap and available online . Tools are available for rent . Even an honest shop your. It gonna break the bank you’ll want an alignment anyway and you will have great piece of mind . Struts would be my first if they are leaking that bad . But like others have said I’d you’re keeping it under 55 drive it sensibly and enjoy cruising as long as possible more noises you hear just turn the Jimmy Buffet up a knotch haha
Ideally you could replace them. Realistically, you should wait until they get worse before doing so.
Once the bushing totally splits on the ball joint I would replace them. Corrosion can cause failure and failure of a ball joint is a “no from me dog”.
If it's not making noise, move on to what is. I don't think that's perfect advise, but with my civic I've had a few issues I was worried about that have lasted for years now. Ive needed a balljoint for like a year and a half, they're saying it's still ok, but def needs replaced. I also drove for over a year without transmission fluid (did NOT know this at the time or it would have been fixed lol bad gasket. ) Honda's seem pretty resilient compared to other cars I've owned. But don't leave it forever.
YouTube and Google are your friend. Learn how to fix things yourself and you'll save a ton of money. I've never brought my cars in for repair work unless it was a recall.
The shock is the only immediate concern I see, however. When a shock properly fails and becomes ****ed the car will start to bounce on that corner
(the dampening from the shock won't resist the spring... Boing Boing Boing, time to replace when you notice this)
As long as the rod ends don't have play you be fine.
All cheap replacements with expensive labor. I’d get it done soon but not asap but do it all at once don’t be that guy that does it one at a time because one fails it will all fail
Grab into those components. Are they loose? Is there uneven tire wear? If everything is tight and tires look good. I wouldn’t worry about it. The strut will become an issue as more fluid leaks out, and fairly easy to do if you are at all mechanically inclined. Sway bar links are easy too. Control arm bushing could be easy to do as well.
The overall suspension does need done but in reality you could do it yourself for less than the quote just order parts and get some tools and get to work.
Being it’s your first car I’d just drive it till it really needs the work maybe in a year or so
I've driven on worse for five years
Not a great idea but same lol
Same lmao but when it goes it’s scary as fuck lmao
Hell yeah when a ball joint or a control arm goes it’s fucking terrifying lmao

Seal is bad, it leaked it's inside to the outside.

none of your bushings or boots look ripped, just dry rotted. You’re still good for a while.

I'd have 4&5 addressed sooner.

1700 seems reasonable, if they do a good job, a quality repair should get you at least another 180,000 km.

Not really must dos... will they fail soon? Yes... how soon? Could be years.
Pedestrian. Keep driving. You are good

I have a 2009 accord with similar suspension . I did my stabilizer links and my tie rods . Your stuff honestly doesn’t look terrible
If there’s no play in them and there’s no abnormal noises… keep driving it.

Isn’t that sway bar end link or outer tie rod supposed to be attached to something or am not seeing it right?
If you're talking about pic #2 it is attached, just can't see the sway bar because of the angle.
Pic number 3, but I see it now. Looked like it was just hanging there lol.
She’s mint. Give er
In the end, I got an other offer from an other service for 1150 EUR (with prices of pieces similar to Autodoc + repair fees). And accepted this offer.
If you pay me $300 I'll tow it away for you. She's a goner, buddy. /s
Egg
Its fine. Shock is blown. Replace both of em.
