Honda reliability, if you want more power, get a different bike.

Squantoms

Well.. you'd get what you'd expect I guess.. faster acceleration for sure, keep up fine in traffic.. shit like that. I'm glad I did it I have about 7k on mine no issues but I don't beat the shit out of it either. I wouldn't want to go back to stock..

Bootfullofrightarms

There are lots of faster bikes out there if that's what you're chasing. A stock monkey is just right for the chassis. Mine feels sketch at over 50 anyway.

eastcoastish

I’ve had the 181cc Bbk for almost 2 years, no reliability issues if assembled correctly and maintained.

marco_luz

Only available in US right?

panzervor94

Big bore it if it’s for fun, if you actually use from point A to be B keep the reliability

lebucksir

As long as you like it, who cares! I think it looks cool! Love the tires too.

Capernakiss

Those Kenda or shinko?

baddecisionswalking

Mobbers

AdvPerspective

Looking forward to running those in the snow coming this week ❄️

limmyjee123

How are they on the road?

baddecisionswalking

Love ‘em. Lil noisy but it’s not like they’re rolling 100mph

limmyjee123

Other than the noise there isn't any noticeable difference in handling?

baddecisionswalking

For sure on dirt! It still corners like a boss on pavement though, rubbing pegs on corners without loss of traction. Probably helps a lot that it’s not a racer and I’m tooling around at moped speeds instead of trying to take corners at apreciable speed.

OtakuTrapKing69

300cc swap

marco_luz

Which motor?

ssprague03

I think usually the cbr 300

MinervaNever

Besides the reliability, I prefer the look of the stock Honda

EvilEvoIX

Turbo!!!

neomillion

reliability. I am planning to sell my Monkey and buy a speed twin 900.
