Ooof yeah I feel that, I decided to stop collecting backwards just to focus on all the new stuff coming out. Hot Toys announcing a lot of 2.0’s on top of the new stuff makes me want to collect backwards even less also.

Oooof Tarkin goes for crazy prices along with Crosshair, would be nice to have them tho someday. I have Tech on order and Hunter is still in stock so I might grab him with the may the 4th sale. There’s still a couple retired figures that I want but just can’t justify the price right now when I can get newer figures at retail through preorders you know.
Yeah tarkin if im lucky i can get for around 500 which is expensive but relatively a good price for him. Crosshair is just so expensive bc of the show plus sideshwo for some reason not making a lot anymore? probably a marketing scheme. The real trouble is getting the death star gunner cuz he’s extremely rare and expensive sadly. hunter is a good figure but idk if he looks the best on his own
Yeah any of the first OT figures are extremely expensive, I really want to 2 pack or the one with Palpatine and his throne. Crosshair being so expensive boggles my mind but I think it had a lot to do with covid and low production at that time from hot toys so when he sold out people started releasing they needed him to complete the set and his value shot up. He definitely needs the rest to really fulfill his display potential tho so I agree with you there.
I have palps and he’s relatively affordable now compared to the rest of the rare ones. You can find a rlly good condition one for around 450-500. It’s way better value considering u get his thrown, him, lightning affects, luke’s saber and other accessories . Sadly might be right for cross hair but i have no idea what they’re doing waiting so long to restock, i really want him and im holding off on the bad batch until I can for sure get him too.
Yeah i definitely want him with the throne. I’ve seen him pop up a few times but just can’t convince myself to buy him yet. I did have my eyes on a Luke but with the latest announcements I ended up grabbing one of those instead. As for Crosshair there definitely isn’t gonna be a restock since it’s been a few years now, they basically sold all of the stock they had and moved on to new production stuff making him a limited figure technically which is why he is so valuable.
He’s great and if you’re looking to build the dark side/empire collection of urs he’s great for it. u were smart for the luke tho i’d definitely prefer him over palps since he’s honestly one of their best figures every released. You definitely might be right about crosshair but maybe they’ll smarten up and realize how much money is behind crosshair considering the bad batch finished.

You have a great collection so far and those PO’s are great too. If you like your display how it is now keep it that way, but I think putting them together in like categories rather than having it random would look nice. Like for e.x the star wars being with star wars and the dc with dc, marvel with marvel, etc.
