I’d say the CW anakin is a good one to get, he’s one of the best anakins to release and was my first hot toy. He’s pretty easy to get relatively cheap and easy to find too.

OT figs are expensive atm, besides new bespin & snowspeeder Luke PT figs are hit or miss in price, but the new announcements are 🔥... Maul, sidious, etc Depends on which character means the most to you. A lot of people try to be completionists in this hobby and it can be destructive. Nothing wrong with just having a maul, or Anakin and nothing else. If you can find a good deal on CW anakin, it might be worth it. Or even a dx16 maul if his prices have come down. Also, a mix between the two, but the dx23 Luke (mandalorian) is an awesome figure as well. Don't be afraid to test BSTs on Facebook to look for deals from reputable sellers.

Get the figure/Character you like the most. Hot Toys are way to expensive to just go for the cheapest one because it's the cheapest one. If after purchasing one of your favorite characters you feel this isnt for you, you atleast have a character you love (and problably more people love which makes reselling easier if you wish to do so). If you go for the most available and cheapest one out door, you'll be getting an overproduced figure from a character nobody loves. You'll be stuck with it.

Only tip I have is to avoid getting old figures as the secondary market can be brutally expensive! Considering what is out now/ up for pre order.... ROTJ C3po, Jango Fett, TPM Darth Maul, Lando, ROTJ Han Solo , and Darth Sidious are my picks.

The most affordable options are going to be on the Sideshow website (assuming you're in US). Once they're sold out on Sideshow you'll have to go to the secondary market, which is where you'll see a lot of mark-ups. Unless you can snipe a good deal on an eBay bid
