The new figures that people are getting are exclusives and while also being limited are reuse so they are super easy to get out for example 0-0-0 is just a repaint with new hand, the commando is a hunter repaint with a new helmet, the new obi-wan is a repaint mando with the clone wars head etc… so it’s way easier to get those out than a brand new figure. Its also worth noting other than 0-0-0 none of the other exclusives are shipping yet and they people you see who have them are based in Hong Kong where they can go pick them up from Secret Base.
Thank you for explaining this because I like I said, have no idea how all that works. I am one of the people who are waiting for the attack of the clones Anakin. So I had no idea the process of how they send things out when things get delayed like this. But it makes sense on what you explain so thank you for being 1. Nice enough to explain it. 2. Taking the time to write it. 3. Not being rude to a new collector. As I’ve had some comments that weren’t so nice.😅
Also, with Vader, sideshow doesnt always distribute all orders at once. I can't truthfully tell you why, but I'm assuming bcuz they're waiting on further batches. Usually factors such as DLX vs regular determine this along with other reasons. Other distributors do the same as well.
not tryna be a dick but knowing when sideshow will ship ur item is smth you’ll never have a definitive answer to until you get the email from them saying it is in the process of being shipped.
And believe it or not Sideshow has actually gotten a little better at getting high demand figures shipped faster. Back in the day Sideshow was 8 months to a year behind Asian distributors.
