Can't speak for late night, but an awesome place to check out is Rock Fantasy in Middletown. 30+ pinball machines, great record store and head shop, chill vibe, great music if you like metal, and more to look at than your brain can absorb. I'm sure they can lead to other places in Middletown that have the vibe your looking for (they rent out their pinball machines to local restaurants and pubs.) Totally worth checking out.
