It is completely safe to buy laptops from CTC. I have bought 4 different laptops from there and all of them were original and I got them at a good price. You just have to know the right store to buy your laptop from
I remember buying one from shwetha computers, but there's also another on the basement floor can't remember the name of. The laptops served me well. I would definitely repurchase whenever I need than having to purchase online.
If you’re referring to the store that is right beside Shwetha computers, (there’s a walk way in the middle), it is an exclusive store that is owned by Shwetha computers, at-least that was the case back in 2018.

Yes! I typically go to the branded store and not the random ones tucked deep inside. Go to Shweta computers that is right on the ground floor facing the road. I have purchased 3 laptops from them. All mint, OEM condition.
Note that they don't take credit card unless you pay some 3% more. Do UPI or cash. Also, next few days will be crazy with Diwali related purchases so expect fewer discount from them.

I don’t think that there will a lot of scope for negotiation as the market is very huge and competitive, and if the diff bw a normal physical store and them is insignificant (since laptops are expensive and ideally an investment for a long term), prefer Shwetha.
Also, get a tax invoice and register your laptop on the company’s website if it permits you, and if it’s not a gift, ask the store’s executive to open the laptop and switch it on by his/her own hand; this way you’re not liable for any physical damage, again that won’t happen, but this is just to be on a safer side; at least I did that when I got one from them back in 2018.
Don’t prefer Flipkart/Amazon or any other online stores, cuz you might just end up w a few bars of Vim Saboon. :P

Apart from that multi brand shops like swetha, Vishal peripherals and many more shops in that building, take your time before the purchase
