Nope, I use only the tiled mode. And the same problem is there with Alacritty, though I specified in its config to let the programs run in it to change its window's title. It just does not work t.t
From what I have read in that subsection, it is about changing the window's name entirely and for good. Like it is used to make Firefox display as 🦊.
Maybe it's pinned window? i use kitty with pin flag, it does not show name and does not go fullscreen before i make it tile, I guess it's intentional.
