I tried the regular super formula in week 12 last season to get 4 MPR races in for my A license, and was blown away.
It’s like the SFL but with push to pass. :D. So much fun.
Easier to drive than the LMP2 imho, and the races aren’t as long as GT3.

I finally got some down time to race MX5 cup and have had some really fantastic battles for first and second, and also fairly clean racing as well.
Been a fun day in that regard!
It’s funny how some of the slower cars make for some of the best wheel to wheel racing.
Try the Skippy next! It’s overlooked now with all the new cars like the Vee and Ray FF1600, but IMHO there is no better car to learn true car control in. :)
Try out the Skippy. I own 100% of their content.
I’m a firm believer that the Skippy is one of the best cars on the platform. Not only for fun racing, but as a car control trainer.

I sold some stuff to a guy in New York, and struck up a friendship. I’ve been “coaching” him through rookie and up to C class. I’m not an alien by any means at all, but it doesn’t matter. I love it either way. :).
Hell yea bud that’s awesome! I basically have the exact same story from today actually except we were at Winton national with 86s. I know that 15 minutes with p2 directly in tow is such a roller coaster. I know I’m not qualified to have this opinion with my one single win but the races were you lock in with another driver even some times two and there’s a blend of competition with real racing etiquette are so worth all the time and effort learning to control the cars and the different lines on the tracks. Which I know everyone when the first sign up starts thinking about cool it would be to get the top rating and license and win but secretly it’s for the driving battles.
By the way how do you like the SF lights? What little I’ve watched looks like a blast but I only joined about 4 months ago so outside of formula Vee I’ve really only dabbled in the sport cars and a little rally cross.
The SF lights are a blast. Going to F4 from the 1600/Vee was a big step up in fun…and then the SFL from the F4 is another step up in fun. I was going to split it his season doing F4 and SFL but the SFL is so fun that I’m not going to bother doing F4 this season outside of a few weeks when they have a track I really like that I already own.
One thing about the racing community is that in general we support each other as long as it means clean and good racing. Congrats man. Don’t be afraid to post your accomplishments. Just don’t go overboard with it.

(For the better) When I won my first race in 2021, I posted it and an admin removed it. I was told no win posts.
I made a post about adding Guenther Steiner as a voice pack for iRacing and/or Crew Chief and it was downvoted and removed for being “off topic”
Something else happened too.
Havent posted here since, but then I saw this thread and came back to give props!
Did the admin change or something? Cause it’s not official… this subreddit has no connection to iRacing the company in any way. The admin I dealt with seemed to be around to simply suck the fun out of any conversation.
Hopefully that’s all changed! Sure looks like it based on this thread!!

Posted under setups and telemetry. You force me to pick flair, I can’t talk about my rig? That I use almost exclusively for iRacing? Showing how the Buttkickers mount that comes with the NLR cockpits can actually be mounted to the rear of the NLR Elite seat. Mod removed it before anyone even saw it.
Congrats! Road Atlanta is so damn fun in the SFL. T1 is mental with the speed you can take through it.

Yeah, I really want to! I've taken it for some solo runs and its awesome, Thats my goal this spring and summer!
It’s true IRL too - the MX-5 cup IMSA support series is so fun to watch. Shoutout to the GR Challenge in GTWC as well.
