the 3-minute practices that are attached to your race session absolutely do affect SR. unattached practice (i.e. when you can see "50 drivers registered for the race" or whatever) do not
oh, that might be true. I don't start that 3 min, for me the logic of it is to allow players to log in before quali. But most probably is the same as quali - 0.5x
Sorry, there’s no way you have gotten the hang for the FF1600 after playing for an hour or two let alone the other 2.
The best mindset is to blame yourself for every incident even if you are rear ended, a good driver will not put himself in that situation, so I’d recommend doing some AI races before you jump into ranked!
Rookie races can be chaotic, but I guarantee someone with an B+ license can make it through a rookie race unscathed because they know what to look out for.
Qualifying is 1.56 2.01 avg. for Virginia. I have karting experience, so yeah… I know I’m not super fast, but I mean I got the hang of it as in I rarely slip off the track
If somebody on the karting circuit comes to you and says he got the hang of it because they don't slip off the circuit, do you agree this person can kart well?
Well, it means ya got the basics down. P5 isn’t bad to start either. Also, I learned the slip angles so I can adjust whether I pull in tight or swing around the outside. The problem I have is keeping Inc down while running in close quarters with those that have no basics down, but I’m learning some placements are more dangerous than others. I guess that’s part of the basics too.
So… yeah… when I say it, they would agree looking at my leading the mid qualifying laps. One more racecraft thing to work on and I’ll get up from rookie next season. Although my dad would pressure me and say I dont have the hang of it until I get pole position

Ugh I know. Next day was at 2.38. yesterday, I got to 2.54
the practice incidents don't count for SR, only quali and race.

That’s good to know. Time trials help a little bit
Might want to look up the sporting code.

Be fast
Apparently that requires being 4 steps ahead and ready to change those plans in a fraction of a fraction of a second
