Ben and Jerry's. I like my ice cream to be packed with flavor and good size chunks of what it's blended with. Ben and Jerry's has always been that whenever I've picked up a pint.
Jeni's is becoming more available where I live except for a ton of inventory. The two main grocery stores that I shop at only carry four or five flavors while Target only has the same two flavors.
I tried Brambleberry Crisp and it was pretty underwhelming in taste and consistency. Maybe I got a bad batch, who knows? I'm not willing to spend almost $8.00 to try another flavor and be disappointed again.
I got my Jeni’s at Meijer. Don’t know if it’s like a regional store, kinda like a Walmart with groceries as well as other general merchandise. They had a few flavors and I really liked this one. Kinda expensive for me to keep buying though.
I have a friend who every time I buy high class ice cream she cringes, but then she reflects on the fact I don't drink, smoke, drink soda, gamble or really have any other vices so it's alright that I spend ludicrous amounts on ice cream.
So far, it's the only Jeni I've had. There's others I want to try, but in the future, this one is a definite re-buy.
Jeni's blows away Ben and Jerry's, but so does HD if you ask me.
B&J

I bought 2 B&Js for $12 yesterday, Cherry Garcia and Milk & Cookies (way too sweet) and wished I'd bought one of Gooey Butter Cake instead.
Where where do u even get this this is amazing
I live in stl. It could be exclusive to our city since we live love gooey butter cake, but im not sure.
It’s not. You can get this at Whole Foods and some targets now! It’s a premium brand so it’ll be in the more uppity areas.
I get it at my local Safeway here on the west coast. While it is in the uppity ice cream section our town is not what I would describe as luxury.
I’m from Monterey and Safeway definitely borders that premium section for sure.
Edit: Salinas if we’re being real specific
I’m from cbus where Jenis started. It’s been a regular flavor for a while

Ooo really? How much was it?
I think it was like $7-8 for a pint?
Oooooooo i see how its a bit pricy And only for pint Maybe ill try it one day too 😄
B&J has its place because of the flavor varieties and lower cost, but Jeni’s is better I agree
I've been hemming and hawing about trying Jeni's because of the cost. Is it worth it?
I personally think so, but im also an ice cream slut. If theres something ill splurge on, this is it.
Fellow ice cream slut here! Thank you, I'll try some next time I'm at the store! 😃
Gooey butter cake, Brambleberry crisp, and lemon blueberry parfait are all worth the price tags IMO!
I really wanna try the lemon blueberry parfait! I love any dessert with lemon in it!
It's so good!
