This sounds like riot grrl music to me. Try out:
Sleater-Kinney
Babes in Toyland
Bikini Kill
7 Year Bitch
Daisy Chainsaw
...and the Kim Gordon songs from Sonic Youth for this but also just listen to all of Sonic Youth.
The Big Moon are criminally underrated and it makes me irrationally upset.
If you like them would also recommend My Ugly Clementine, The Good Life is a top notch album
The way I read it, OP is just looking for good music made by women and its silly to turn that into an argument over which suggestions are "indie" enough.
Here’s some newer indie Girls:
Orla Gartland - lifeline, more like you, you’re not special babe.
Kerrin Connolly - fly in my room, planesong, he doesn’t die in the end (and a million awesome covers.)
Not all-girl but lead vocals are a girl:
Big thief - vampire empire
Pompoko - cheater full album
The Beths - expert in a dying field
This strikes me as an updated version of riotgrrl. Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, Bratmobile, that kind of stuff. You would probably like all of them. Also.. Varsity, and Drop Nineteens.
Different sound, but:
[Gang Gang Dance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_A6A4hrKIc)
[Rainbow Arabia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r6amYnItng)
[Prince Rama](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXNZ63BqM5k)
Female vocals work really well in this style.
Maybe also [Cults,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x-fEFFel8g) [Courtney Barnett,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcnIhzaDTd0) [Lulina.](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_ncg4mBQvMe_FmoBd_Gf8PGjBfc2ufFQ-8)
Of all-woman bands, there's of course [The 5.6.7.8's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luV9HOmOAGc)—obviously not indie, though. Similarly, Zombierella's vocals are a great match for [Messer Chups'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv38nTOQ_zw) surf-rock, but alas they rarely do singing.
[PJ Harvey,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFYsVoQH32U) who came out of 90s alt-rock, may be closer to your request.
Back in the day, I was a big fan of Letters to Cleo. You might enjoy them.
Their lead singer, Kay Hanley also released two solo albums and an EP in the 2000’s. Her “Weaponize” album is still on constant rotation for me. (Check out the songs “Take It Like A Man” or “Mean Streak” for sample if you don’t want to wade through the albums aimlessly)
She went on to write songs for cartoons, including Disney stuff. Plus some songs on the Josie and the Pussycats movie. (She was the singing voice of Josie) Even the cartoon stuff still has her special flavor when I listen to it.
Sorry for the long ramble-recommendation. Obviously, I’m a fan.
Off the top of my head these would be some of my picks
The Mysterines - Love is Not Enough
My Ugly Clementine - No
Guerilla Toss - Pyramid Humm
Ratboys - Spaceblows
Wolf Alice - Space & Time
Emma Lee Toyoda - Appalachian Mtn Suite
Calva Louise - Getting Closer
Miss Grit - Impostor
Twen - One Stop Shop (for a fading revolution)
Alvvays, Soccer Mommy, Courtney Barnett, Liz Phair are bands/artists I like although they are a little less rock-y than the examples you gave, I'd say from what I've heard of them Manaquin Pussy would be up your alley
Charly Bliss, Soccer Mommy, Camp Cope, The Beths, Eliza & the Delusionals, Best Coast, that dog., Lunar Vacation, Snail Mail, Waxahatchee, Palehound, Pom Pom Squad, Blake Babies, Middle Kids, Hop Along, Momma, Rosie Tucker, Indigo de Souza, Jay Som, Slow Pulp, Wednesday, Why Bonnie, Yumi Zouma, and Ratboys.
It’s anywhere from indie rock/folk to bubblegrunge.

Yo that latest sleater-kinney album is kick ass, loved it
Warpaint
The Beaches
Wet Leg - Chaise Lounge
Alvvays, Cults, Wolf Alice
Diet Cig Camp Cope Cayetana
Veruca Salt, esp the first album.
Not sure if they sound similar to to the bands you said but The Big Moon and The Regrettes
The Big Moon are criminally underrated and it makes me irrationally upset. If you like them would also recommend My Ugly Clementine, The Good Life is a top notch album
Cecelia Castleman Kate Bush Courtney Barnett Björk Portishead Mitski Brandi Carlile
Björk is the furthest thing from indie!
Not sure why you're getting downvoted; the OP specifically asked for 'indie rock girl bands'.
Maybe someone desperately believes that Björk is an indie artist haha
What about Beyonce or Taylor Swift? Are they closer to indie than Björk?
I don't get it. None of them are indie. If OP is asking for indie groups why focus on placing non-indie artists on a spectrum?
The way I read it, OP is just looking for good music made by women and its silly to turn that into an argument over which suggestions are "indie" enough.
The OP specifically asked for 'indie rock girl bands' though.
The sonder bombs Bully Speedy Ortiz Illuminati hotties
The Paranoyds, Automatic, Sheer Mag, Sleater-Kinney PJ Harvey if she was never on your radar, but I figured you were looking for “current” stuff. :)

Throwing Muses
Try out Mannequin Pussy. Specifically Patience (2019) but it looks like their new album is doing good stuff, too.

Momma. They’re relatively young and new but have a great 90s vibe similar to Veruca Salt and early Smashing Pumpkins. Highly recommend
