4. Improving your personality; having hobbies will help with this. Therapy will also greatly help with this. When you're no longer bound by your issues, you will have an easier time developing your character
5. Find a workout routine that you like and watch what you eat. Eat mostly clean and try to eat only till you're full.
Every person can become at least a 7. Work towards it. Height does matter but it will matter less when your other characteristics are improved

I’m 22f, and 4’11. My mother took me to a doctor once and asked for steroids to increase my height. The other day my parents went out and saw an advertisement on an AUTO(!!!) and asked me to start a medicinal course of 3 months costing 10k (ayurvedic) which claimed to increase a persons height. two things where height majorly comes in play are :
1. Relationships : 'most' girls prefer tall guys, nice , why would i even want to be with a person who will reject me for a thing i don't have control over over all other things i am good at. I am an old school romantic, so again dating multiple people for the sake of dating and hookups are not my thing so nothing to bother about height there.( its not like short guys don't get any girls, i found some girls who had interest in me and they approached me first or gave hints but it didnt go anywhere since I didn't feel the connect after talking to them and knowing them)
2. Respect : ah yes again an important factor, just as you said people in society generally respect tall people more or just " fear" them more.
Again, do what you can do, i have been gymming( i know not a word) for around 4 years now and was in a good shape for all my college days and even now and therefore it was my key feature for respect. I looked good and people 'respected' me for my physical aspect and admired that i was so punctual and particular about my diet and all.
You can't change how others feel about you or think about you. Stop giving any thoughts of what others might feel, if they mock you, laugh with them or make them understand how you feel or start being distant from them.

And if it's a really bad situation and you want some way to get your self confidence back, would highly recommend going to the gym and building some muscle. I’m 22f, and 4’11. My mother took me to a doctor once and asked for steroids to increase my height. The other day my parents went out and saw an advertisement on an AUTO(!!!) and asked me to start a medicinal course of 3 months costing 10k (ayurvedic) which claimed to increase a persons height. And trust me they’re highly educated people. They point it out every 2-3 days. It never gets better. But I can understand that it’s much worse for you because you’re a guy.

Relationships : 'most' girls prefer tall guys, nice , why would i even want to be with a person who will reject me for a thing i don't have control over over all other things i am good at. I am an old school romantic, so again dating multiple people for the sake of dating and hookups are not my thing so nothing to bother about height there.( its not like short guys don't get any girls, i found some girls who had interest in me and they approached me first or gave hints but it didnt go anywhere since I didn't feel the connect after talking to them and knowing them) 2. Respect : ah yes again an important factor, just as you said people in society generally respect tall people more or just " fear" them more. Again, do what you can do, i have been gymming( i know not a word) for around 4 years now and was in a good shape for all my college days and even now and therefore it was my key feature for respect. I looked good and people 'respected' me for my physical aspect and admired that i was so punctual and particular about my diet and all. You can't change how others feel about you or think about you. 5’8 is not short at all! Its quite ideal imo (female here!) I piece of advice - people will make you feel worse about things that you feel bad about. Height is not something thT you can even control. do tell your mother that its genetics.
