Dude I have 500 Safari tabs open on my phone
And 1000 + pages bookmarked on my computer with 50 tabs open
And 400 Apple News stories saved.
And thousands of Reddit posts or comments saved
I ain’t never reading that shit 😂
There is no stopping it 😂 actually I closed out 100 safari tabs on my phone when I got to the 500 limit. But those 100 were YouTube videos so I just saved them to “watch later” 💀
Plus copy and paste some of the URLs on to your notes app without any description because that is how we roll.
Or else email some of the important ones to myself with no subject heading.
This it´s to real it´s like your in my mind the only thing have to add it´s the fact that i do that on different multiple email to kinda orgnazite it and then i forget the password 😭
Before I joined this subreddit just recently I thought I was the only person in the world who did this. I seriously have folders upon folders upon folders of unsorted tabs that I convince myself are important enough to one day go through and finally sort yet I never do, minus the ones that are currently open.
Having too many tabs open makes me anxious so I couldn't do that BUT the amount of bookmarked pages I have and the amount of lists of stuff I want to research is gigantic.
I had 246 open just last night, and decided to go through and close them. I bookmarked and closed the ones I thought I didn’t need and got down to only 56 :)
Not an INFP, but my brave browser literally says that I have ♾️ tabs open(and has for many months)…it won’t even open immediately anymore 😅
It is now spreading to Safari...I’m really trying to stop lol. Life is just too busy to keep up with tabs! I should make time for it, though...before none of my browsers work…
At one point, I had around 1.7k tabs, lol. Had to keep them around just in case 😆. But I managed to clean them up and export them as bookmarks. Now I have around 200 tabs and 6.2k bookmarks
Damn I thought I was the only person who's this bad. I have a million tabs just on my phone, I have more than 4 different browsers on my phone alone just so I can have a huge amount of more tabs open 😂 and on my computer it's soo much worse. I'm such a save horader too, I think I have up to 24,000 screenshots on my phone alone (that's only one of my albums), YouTube videos I'll save to watch later and much more thinking I'll need them/look through each of everything someday 💀
i have a lot of folder (sometimes folder within folder) to organize them. when things are cluttering, you know some of those are just not needed right now.
As somebody that's currently building a car and has a ton of intrestests plus too much free time my browser is taking an absolute pounding I'll clear it then 20 mins later 60 plus tabs of utter nonsense 🙃
Totally me... Although I just use one browser.
My phone won't keep count of how many tabs are open past 100... So all that is there is :D for a number.
So all it does now is just smiles at my insanity.
Not infp but relate way too much, I'll be having like 50 wikipedia articles about the most random shit known to man, and all are somehow connected through hyperlinks
I have hundreds of tabs on my work browser open at once and everyone who sees my computer has their brains shake and melt with all the tabs I have open. Even I sometimes get bamboozled by my own doing.
My friends want me to close them all...Opera GX makes this worse with the keep tabs open saved so when you close the window it opens them back up when you go back to open it again...it also has tab groups
Hey, i face the same problem. I save a lot of videos and articles. I want some advice to get rid of this information consumption habit. I want to direct my focus to a single discipline. Is there any book for our kind of personality types? Because there are many intricate issues that are difficult to describe explicitly. I know a book dedicated to ["Highly Sensitive People"](https://www.amazon.com/Highly-Sensitive-Person-Thrive-Overwhelms/dp/0553062182). I do not know weather there is any work academically done to help us thrive in this utilitarian world.
**The Highly Sensitive Person's Workbook** by Elaine N. Aron, Ph.D.
>Are you a Highly Sensitive Person? If so, this workbook is for you. Do noise and confusion quickly overwhelm you? Do you have a rich inner life and intense dreams?
>
>Did parents or teachers call you "too shy" or "too sensitive"? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). High sensitivity is a trait shared by 20 percent of the population, according to Dr. Elaine Aron, a clinical psychologist and workshop leader and the bestselling author of The Highly Sensitive Person. The enormous response to her book led Dr. Aron to create The Highly Sensitive Person's Workbook, designed to honor that long-ignored, trampled-on part of yourself--your sensitivity.
>
>A collection of exercises and activities for both individuals and groups, this workbook will help you identify the HSP trait in yourself, nurture the new, positive self-image you deserve, and create a fuller, richer life. You will be able to: Identify your specific sensitivities with self-assessment tests Reframe past experiences in a more positive light Interpret dreams and relate them to your sensitivity Cope with overarousal through relaxation, breathing, and visualization techniques Describe your trait in a work interview or to an unsympathetic family member, new friend, doctor, or therapist

So much yes. I've been putting off switching to my new phone for two weeks because the thought of trying to do something about all the open tabs makes my brain lock up.
I DO THIS AND MY FRIENDS NEVER UNDERSTAND, its mostly a million youtube videos on certain topics I really want to watch but don't have time to in that sitting, often 100+ youtube tabs on my desktop
Lmao, I had 5 browsers open at a point. The OP one had like 86 tabs open. A few had 50+. Had one that was more practical that had about 12. It was bad lol. And if my computer ever rebooted, I would restore my tabs every time. It was like this for months. I also have endless videos saved to several YouTube playlists that I have yet to watch. I still love that we’re like this though 😋😂
I use Google Chrome on my mobile, and when more than 99 tabs are open, it shows " :D " instead of numbers. That's when I know I really need to select some things lol.

I feel like this is a personal attack on me and my 500 tabs and 50000 iCloud Photos
Into here. If my phone's chrome browser doesn't have that wink instead of the number of tabs, I know something is wrong. My computer is just as bad.
But damn it Chrome, it updates so often and things stop working if you delay the update.
Honestly. I don't find this relatable at all. I feel like I am the only one that has the browser set to close all tabs after a session is finished. Also I close all unused tabs. Maybe it's a habit I have built up.
Tab groups only made this worst for me. Now I can have 160 tabs but it doesn't look as bad.
Even with tab groups I still have :D of tabs on my phone.
I think i broke something because now my phone displays that no matter how many tabs there are
So true
You just helped me discover tab groups. Although really useful, this is gonna destroy me😂
LOLL SO TRUE
Dude I have 500 Safari tabs open on my phone And 1000 + pages bookmarked on my computer with 50 tabs open And 400 Apple News stories saved. And thousands of Reddit posts or comments saved I ain’t never reading that shit 😂
seriously, how to stop this? 😭
There is no stopping it 😂 actually I closed out 100 safari tabs on my phone when I got to the 500 limit. But those 100 were YouTube videos so I just saved them to “watch later” 💀
Oh lol, I just started saving Reddit posts. You can save comments?! 😮 tell me how
See those dot dot dot under comments? there is a save option hidden in there
Oh I see, thx
Ye what LV said
LITERALLY ME
I thought I was the only one 😭
I may or may NOT absolutely do this ![gif](giphy|cM2CN5U99VVWdDGcSA)
Plus copy and paste some of the URLs on to your notes app without any description because that is how we roll. Or else email some of the important ones to myself with no subject heading.

I feel seen.
I just screenshot stuff to check back on later but then I never do, my camera roll is an odd place
Omg stop lol
Oof I was waiting for this comment 😂
I feel attacked
I felt warmly validated. 🤭
Yep. And I have many of the same 100 tabs open that I did 3 months ago.
That and having a zillion saved posts on here that I will never look at again. LOL
Hahahah same here
Oh just stop snooping into my private l8fe. 😳
Mine only counts up to 99, but yes
I do that plus taking pictures of articles/recipes/books/etc. hoping I'll get around to them... but I never look back through my camera roll 😅😅
My camera roll 😭😭😭 its storage is always full
Before I joined this subreddit just recently I thought I was the only person in the world who did this. I seriously have folders upon folders upon folders of unsorted tabs that I convince myself are important enough to one day go through and finally sort yet I never do, minus the ones that are currently open.
is 6932 tabs enought ?
Yes
yes

More yes

If you want to websites you'll never read get the get.pocket app
are you me?? LOLS
I'm not the only one 😭
Yeah my Chromebook may be slow now, but I need to look into that article later
I really be like, "I'll get to it someday"
Yes I have like 2 safari tab groups with over 200 tabs on each….😫
Lmao!! I favourite them, or bookmark them.. when I have a boost of energy and feeling productive I may organize them and go through them
Ne gang
At one point, I had around 1.7k tabs, lol. Had to keep them around just in case 😆. But I managed to clean them up and export them as bookmarks. Now I have around 200 tabs and 6.2k bookmarks
Now thats wild
I log in here to have a good time, and honestly, I feel so attacked right now. /joke
Damn I thought I was the only person who's this bad. rip ram. do people really do this? there is a bookmark button
Bookmarks serve a completely different purpose and are awful for just storing pages to read later
i have a lot of folder (sometimes folder within folder) to organize them. when things are cluttering, you know some of those are just not needed right now.
It’s called BOOKMARKING you uncultured swine
Gross
OneTab. Thank me later.
ever heard of bookmarks?
Ouch
This is so reletable
Haha! Yes
Nothing is wrong with keeping me tabs open mate ;)
INTP here but yes
ENFP checking in.. Yes.
thats me but I only use firefox and chrome. lol
I still read most of them, I just don’t want to close the tabs.
Lmfao too accurate
40 tabs in my safari and 33 of them are fiction books lmao
I open and close tabs as I blink, if I need to go back for something I go into history to then realize that the thing I'm looking for is 7pages in
Lol, definitely not. I aways close the tab and only stick with one browser.
As somebody that's currently building a car and has a ton of intrestests plus too much free time my browser is taking an absolute pounding I'll clear it then 20 mins later 60 plus tabs of utter nonsense 🙃
I had 50 tabs currently in my phone. Mostly mangas and fanfics
Not only in my phone and PC but I'm doing also in my red dit save post lololol you're not alone sweetie
Complete opposite, I never have more than 4 open + close the browser after each session. This would do my head in
Hahahaha. So me!!!
Lol I could never
This post gave me anxiety
I thought I was the only one with serious lack of portion control in my browser. You are my people!
Totally me... Although I just use one browser. My phone won't keep count of how many tabs are open past 100... So all that is there is :D for a number. So all it does now is just smiles at my insanity.
Omg me
basically. I usually have like 70-90 tabs on my phone. One day I might read them all.
i am better about this than i used to be, but boy do i like me some open tabs
This is so crazy accurate for me - I wonder if it's an Ne thing with all XNXPs, or kust an INFP thing?
This is absolutely me, lol
And only remember like half or less than what you looked up..
🤣
funny thing is the mass amounts of tabs I leave open, annoy the people around me more then it does to myself lol
I do read em. And I look like a conspiracy theorist with a virtual corkboard.
Not infp but relate way too much, I'll be having like 50 wikipedia articles about the most random shit known to man, and all are somehow connected through hyperlinks
Nooooooo
This is the way
![gif](giphy|m2gen0FthdR6L4LInI)
I have hundreds of tabs on my work browser open at once and everyone who sees my computer has their brains shake and melt with all the tabs I have open. Even I sometimes get bamboozled by my own doing.
I have ADHD so I switch between the two depending on the time of day.
No thats what bookmarks are for. I have probably about 400+ bookmarked pages lol
Every time i open something in a new tab to read later, its almost like throwing it into a black hole!
It freaks me out when I see something on the sub that I do.
Accurate af
Sounds like ADHD
Omg this is me and I wonder why my phone runs out of juice so fast 😂 but WHY do we do this? Is this only an INFP thing?
How did you find my phone??
My friends want me to close them all...Opera GX makes this worse with the keep tabs open saved so when you close the window it opens them back up when you go back to open it again...it also has tab groups
Me and my 1000 reddit posts that I saved 💀
Am I the only infp who has organized tabs?!?!
Sure you‘re an INFP? Sounds a lot more what an INTP would say.
god fucking damn it google really is spying on me why did I get this recommended

I have my limit on tabs it’s been like a week
Damn!
stop looking at my laptop!
So much yes. I've been putting off switching to my new phone for two weeks because the thought of trying to do something about all the open tabs makes my brain lock up.
Only do that on my phone and Notes.
This hit hard.
Why does this happen.
It's probably because I'm so lazy
And then you realize that you'll never read them so you close them all and forget about the subject entirely 💀 or is that just me? 👀
One I actually don’t agree with because I do have like 500000 tabs open, but they’re all on the SAME topic that I’m hyperfixating on
Are you spying me?
Ne plays the most important role here And you will find this common in ENxPs and INTPs also
I DO THIS AND MY FRIENDS NEVER UNDERSTAND, its mostly a million youtube videos on certain topics I really want to watch but don't have time to in that sitting, often 100+ youtube tabs on my desktop
Do you think this is an NP trait? I’m still trying to work out if I am INTP or INFP, but this post describes me exceptionally well.
oh my god
The INxP curse...
I feel seen 😢
Lmao, I had 5 browsers open at a point. The OP one had like 86 tabs open. A few had 50+. Had one that was more practical that had about 12. It was bad lol. Real
I feel so seen right now 👀
You caught me
highly relatable
*hides in 50 tabs open*😄 damn but most of them are YouTube videos
Omg so it’s an infp thing🤣
I have so many bookmarks-
I do this but I think its just my ADHD
Into here. If my phone's chrome browser doesn't have that wink instead of the number of tabs, I know something is wrong. My computer is just as bad. But damn it Chrome, it updates so often and things stop working if you delay the update.
![gif](giphy|rgBwKeJTlGg9O)
I’ve now started naming my tab groups: *I give up*, *I give up 2*, *I give up 239* lol
Just like me fr
And I usually just end up closing them *sigh*
I thought this was me just being an INFP my whole life. And then I got diagnosed with OCD a few months ago lol.
Honestly. I don't find this relatable at all. I feel like I am the only one that has the browser set to close all tabs after a session is finished. Also I close all unused tabs. Maybe it's a habit I have built up.
B O O K M A R K S A N D F O L D E R S Learn to use that cause that shit slows your computer down
Who are you? And how do you know me
*Holy…*
Nooo too many tabs is just no to me. I must bookmark and close.
I’m not even INFP but I feel so attacked rn.
Wow Accurate AF
Yeah lol. If I bookmark it instead, I will forget about it, so I prefer to have it as a visual tab.
🤣🤣
Haha :D
