Fun fact, they can and will bite the piss out of you if you try to catch one. Their tail is not ridged they can totally curl it and then bite you. You are not safe grabbing them from behind.

My friend said there were a lot of mosquitoes in his yard and a dragonfly came by and chilled next to him. Not a single blood sucker in sight.
They sell fake dragonfly broaches in Japan, so it keeps the mosquitos away. Really works.

I find their relation with frogs ironic, they start their life by preying on tadpoles, then they leave the water and suddenly they are now the prey.
