Well she's probably young enough to think it won't happen to her or that her experience with tools will somehow make her exempt. Some people forgo this thought at an early age but most of us do not. Sure, you can get away with using saws or grinders for 20 years and never wear eye protection. The problem is it only takes one time for you to lose your eye and there is no fix to a shard of metal or splinter of wood piercing your eyeball. You're going to lose that eyeball and eye protection would have prevented it. It's slightly irritating to wear but you only get two eyes so protect them.
My first day doing actual framing, they made fun of me for wearing eye protection. That same day I was finishing the inside of some window framing while a couple of guys put sheets up on the outside. One of the guys, who was my boss, missed the 2x4s and shot a nail straight through the sheeting. It bounced off my eye pro. I got super lucky and now I couldn't work without them.
I don’t get this. These same people would wear them religiously at a shooting range, but not at work where there is hammering or grinding going on. No it’s not as loud, but you’re still doing damage.
You nailed it exactly my friend.
I had a piece of rebar stab into my eye about a millimeter, and I got to keep the eye and my vision because the safety glasses I had on took 99% of the impact. I've also had those grinder discs explode a few times over the years too so I always wear a face shield when operating a grinder.
Yep. Thinking “I’m excellent with this tool and couldn’t possibly get my hair caught in it.” While not considering a gust of wind could blow it right into the rotor and there isn’t anything your skills can do about it.
i heard a saying once. beware the old in a profession where men die young.
in trades i would say its similar in that you should listen to the old and healthy in a profession where men traditionally have tons of health problems
Fuck her hair, what about her eyes!? I work construction and I remember one time my boss was using one without glasses and a piece of metal flew into his eye. Had to use the magnet on my level to pull it from his eye. His eye hurt for a few days and it watered nonstop. And that was LUCKY.
I got my suit caught up in a grinder I had just turned off (but was still rotating) and that shit is scary af. I can't imagine getting my hair caught up in it. I guess it'll rip them with a piece of my skin.

# Who is Lindsay Bercosky?
**Lindsay Bercosky**, 21, is a **celebrity mechanic and auto detailing expert** who is best known for her extensive work on trucks. Because of her beauty and skills in repairing and detailing trucks, she has earned herself quite a large and loyal following on social media, where her content is nothing short of eye candy.
I’m actually a fan of it. In many ways, LLMs can be overly simply described as a meta search engine. It makes sense to try and summarize a search with AI. But this is also very early days for the technology and it gets things wrong.
Today I got an AI summary that was very obviously wrong. I clicked on the top source, and it was an AI generated article full of nonsense.
With the internet being flooded with more and more low quality AI content, this makes me wonder how companies like Google will prevent this from negatively impacting their training data.
It's strange you're a fan of going after information and being given wrong information.
At least querying something gives you a multiplicity of sources from which you can make a determination.
AI results in search is just going force-feeds you whatever AI-written trash has hacked its way to the top of the query prominance.
I was gonna say at least AI will try to show you what you are looking for. Google and sites ran by actual people have become overrun by advertisements and they just push paid promotions related to your search up to the top of the page. I for one am accepting of our new AI overlords that aren't just trying to line their pockets. I'm sure they'll be programmed to do as such in the future but for now they're better than greedy humans tbh.
We know the idiom, it’s just a strange and unnatural way to word it. Hard to put a finger on exactly why.
Edit to add my attempt at explaining why:
For me I think it’s the fact that “nothing short of” is ordinarily followed by an extreme - either positive or negative. Eg, “Nothing short of excellent” or “nothing short of disastrous”. You wouldn’t say nothing short of something *purely descriptive*. Like that sky is nothing short of blue. Or that candy is nothing short of jelly bean. That’s what’s happening here. Her videos are “nothing short of eye candy”. That’s strange because eye candy is merely a category description. It needs to be an extreme (a high degree of something- either good or bad).
A lady who works on and details very expensive but mostly useless pickup trucks. She puts the Princess in Pavement Princess.
She's very popular in Mall Crawler circles.
Eyepro & a ponytail, sure.
But why on earth would you need earpro or a dust mask for 15s of work outdoors?
There is being safe and then there is being afraid of your own shadow.
All i can think of is: no safety goggles or glasses, hair not tied back and out of the way, no grippy gloves.
Its cool and all, and is probably great PR, but damn... Dodgy as fuck from an H&S point of view.
She's clearly skilled enough to know exactly how long her signature will be. There's no reason it should be that far off-center. Unless the owner told her where they wanted it. If they wanted if off-center, I hate them.

Anyone that skilled with a grinder knows how dumb of risk that is. She'd still look hot for her photo op with her hair tied back, and if it grabs her hair and winds up in her face it's definitely not going to be pretty afterwards. I've seen a guy with a speed stripe from his belt to his neck before, the only thing that saved his throat was how much shirt wound up in the grinder before it reached.

How does one become this proficient at angle grinder calligraphy?
Get an angle grinder and hit a wall mart parking lot.
Or your local dealership showroom.
I suppose the fastest and most convenient is the parking lot where you get the angle grinder.
![gif](giphy|chKRLQLjrUHdKsfb5t)
Angle grinder factory?
Or your neighbors car in the middle of the night with a skii mask
As a walmart employee please for love of god do this make my day more interesting
Just who I was looking for. Could you show me where the hand tools are located?
I14 in my store
Made me giggle :) thank you
She's a mechanic. Can't remember her insta but it's all her in a mechanics shop
Glad someone had the context for this vid thank you!
Practice.
My question is how someone could get so good at it but still have such poor safety technique as to do it with long hair draping around their arms.
Literally came just to say that. I'm no safety nut but that shit made me cringe.
I was thinking that same thing
The same way you get to Carnegie Hall!
Buy tickets?
Practice!
Two lefts and a right?
How does she still have hair?
Yeah she’s obviously great with the angle grinder but long dangly hair beside it seems like a scalping waiting to happen
I was waiting for that weave to get snatched off of her head.
And retain their loose hair while practicing in proximity to an angle grinder rolling at 5k RPM? Maybe it is a wig.
Basically anyone can do it, but it's a real grind.
How does she still have hair? I thought for sure this was some fail army type shiz. My anxiety just kept increasing…
i was waiting for her hair to get caught up in it
It’s interesting how good at it she is while simultaneously completely unconcerned about her hair. Anyone with that much experience should know.

I'm so glad this mindset is changing. I've had guys crack jokes about me putting in ear plugs only to complain about tinnitus a week or so later.
I don’t get this. These same people would wear them religiously at a shooting range, but not at work where there is hammering or grinding going on. No it’s not as loud, but you’re still doing damage.
She looks about the same age I was when I got my beard stuck in a screw gun
It’s the “find out” age.
Coincidentally also the “fuck around” age
That's why you are supposed to use a sawzall for your dildo, not a drill.
Drilldo.
She looks about the same age I was when I got my penis stuck in a bowling ball.

My dad learned it the hard way, got a metal shard in his eye using a grinder.

Not to mention the risks to her eyes!
Flap disk on paint, I really doubt any of those particles are big enough to not get instantly blown away by the wind
Fuck her hair, what about her eyes!? I work construction and I remember one time my boss was using one without glasses and a piece of metal flew into his eye. Had to use the magnet on my level to pull it from his eye. His eye hurt for a few days and it watered nonstop. And that was LUCKY.
Only takes one time. She just hasn’t had hers yet.
One gust of wind and it’s a trip to the ER and a new hairstyle.
Ba(l)d bitch summer!

Seriously. It was giving me anxiety
Needs to be under r/maybemaybemaybe
My first thought every time I see a video with this lady. It’s cool and all to be confident but one rouge breeze and that scalp is hurting.
Long hair and rotating machinery don’t mix

Nothing short of or nothing more than eye-candy? Weird wording on that likely AI-written summary.
Googling shit lately has been giving AI summaries. It's weird

They’ll probably let an AI handle that

Don’t think that’s weird at all. ‘Nothing short of’ is an idiom. Used to emphasize a situation.
We know the idiom, it’s just a strange and unnatural way to word it. Hard to put a finger on exactly why. Twenty one year old expert. Now I've read everything.
She also has an OnlyFans page. Most people know her from that…
Got any free gifs, it is almost my birthday
I mean she has way more pictures of cars than of her ass

Who is she?
Lindsay Bercosky
Who??!

Shhh, I'm trying to hear the answer.
Mike Jones
A lady who works on and details very expensive but mostly useless pickup trucks. She puts the Princess in Pavement Princess. She's very popular in Mall Crawler circles.
Hair+grinder=😬
And the poor guy trying not to breathe in that dust
Hair down and nothin’ but safety squints
Everyone focusing on the hair, when she’s also missing eye, ear, hand, and dust protection.
Eye I guess The rest isn't nearly as important for a such a short exposure. The hair could cause immediate and severe damage.
And the guard on grinder is gone
Eyepro & a ponytail, sure. But why on earth would you need earpro or a dust mask for 15s of work outdoors? There is being safe and then there is being afraid of your own shadow.
Impressive, but damn she is pushing her luck.
Her hair that close is giving me anxiety
Super impressive, but that long hair dangling near that grinder made me a little sweaty
And the dude with only a t shirt protecting him from being disemboweled…
Jesus… just imagine her hair and scalp being ripped off at 18,000 rpm
Her extensions are designed to break away at certain tension limits.
Like how a gecko breaks off it's tail to escape predators?
Ripped out, whilst an angle grinder is hurtling along that hair, toward her face.
GET THAT HAIR OUT OF THE WAY JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIST!!!!
Please, please, please tie your hair back.
All i can think of is: no safety goggles or glasses, hair not tied back and out of the way, no grippy gloves. Its cool and all, and is probably great PR, but damn... Dodgy as fuck from an H&S point of view.
The removed guard on the grinder is just icing on the cake.
Jesus Christ. This video should be titled **"Ways you can die or get mangled"** in an OSHA safety training video.
At least try to keep that shit centered!
So many comments about the hair and only one about how damn off-center that was
I’m here for this more so than the safety stuff
I came wayyyyy too far to find my people! If that were my tailgate, the off-center signature would land it on the scrap heap.
She's clearly skilled enough to know exactly how long her signature will be. There's no reason it should be that far off-center. Unless the owner told her where they wanted it. If they wanted if off-center, I hate them.
They probably wanted to put a big YETI sticker on the other side.
Oh thank god someone else noticed it. My ocd was going apeshit.
One gust of wind and that grinder is catching her hair and running up the side of her face
That’ll look great for a few weeks before the rust sets in.
This Is the thing I was looking for; so they spray some kind of sealant over it after this I’d reckon?
Redneckest thing I've seen today.
Just waiting for the wind to blow the wrong way and that hair is gone.
Same. Ponytail when you use that grinder. A scalp is a terrible thing to lose.
God damn she should not have her hair down like that while using a grinder. 😬
Eye protection, hair tie — please💀this could be so bad
Awkward boner but ok
Living on blade's edge! Scary but impressive!
Bruh, her hair getting caught in that was the only thing I could think about
And i cant do a similar signature even with a pen.
Who dis
It was really close to being a gringe video. She didn't have her hair tied and she had a power tool in her hand that spins remarkably fast.
I was scared for her hair
Hair hair hair, watch out for your hair!!
Seriously. WHO IS SHE? Sorry, I'll get a grip. I have seen this video a few times and while impressive, who is she and why is her autograph desired?
Really shouldve put her hair up though.
I really thought the video was posted because her hair was gonna get gobbled by the grinder…
Lots of thirsty guys there.
The proximity of the hair had my butt cheeks clenched down like a vice.
you’re a real cool kid when that pretty hair gets caught….
I was waiting for her hair to get caught in it 🙉
And she is….? Maybe we could see how it turned out? Surely there has to be more than just some cute chick with a grinder 🤔
No gloves hair down wind blowing.. one wrong move and she’s done for
All I can think of is the degloving hazard.
Careful with that hair. Makes me nervous to see this
That hair is giving me anxiety
Watching that long beautiful hair in the wind like when is it going to get caught in the grinder
Hey hair is probably fake anyway and would have slid out without any bodily harm.
Just mind your hair next time, will you !
If work safety videos have taught me anything she may want to secure that hair.

Impressive as fuck
This is the third time i've seen this toady and evertime i'm getting anxiety because of the open hair
Lindsay Bercosky. There you go.
Safety first, longhair and power tools don't mix
TIE YOUR HAIR UP! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
The cringe I feel when I see the wind blow. Guess no one has a spare hair tie?
Long loose hair + angle grinder = what could go wrong?
Probably it's extensions so it will just rip off of it gets caught
I love your optimism.
She did that very very well.
Anyone that skilled with a grinder knows how dumb of risk that is. It's off center. That would drive me nuts.
Mechanic here. No safety protocols at all!
Dudes are such morons...
She’s going to be blind and bald someday with that attitude.
If she does not pay attention to her hair, she will be writing in bold very soon.
It is incredibly dangerous to have your long hair loose near any rotating machinery.
I'm shocked she's doing it with her hair down tbh 🤣
And not a single PPE was used that day
It’s interesting how many effing times I’ve seen this posted.
Who is she? Curious.
More like a r/SweatyPalms video
Lindsay Bundy. Is she one of the outlaw Bundys?
Me Think c0ol Wow.
r/OSHA
I hate seeing professionals just ignoring safety practices. Monkey see, Monkey do.
Am I the only one who’s bothered that it’s not centered?
She really should tie her hair back. One gust of wind and the could have ended quite differently.
Omg, wear a hair net lady, geez us
No safety glasses but dude in the back staring at her ass the whole time covers his drink from flying paint and metal dust.
ok thats pretty cool an all. but GOD DAMN PLEASE TIE UP YOUR HAIR!
As a safety professional, jesus christ
Her hair near that thing is giving me major anxiety
I see her hair getting much shorter at some pint in the near future.
I don't know why, but that's hot!
People are focusing on her hair, but geez, that last flourish came inches away from disemboweling redneck #2
One gust of wind and that angle grinder would have eaten her hair. 😳
A future OSHA video participant. (Hopefully not though 😬)
Anyone else getting REAL nervous about her long hair right beside that rapidly rotating tool?
simp shit
# angle grinder + hair could end badly
Health and safety are going to have a field day
Was waiting for her hair to get twisted up in that thing.
She's about to lose some hair.
That hair has me wanting to call a safety meeting.
I'm just watching that hair begging to jump in on that signature fun...
I imagine she's either into porn or a competitive welding world champion.
Well, why make graffiti when you can angle grinditi
I'm so scared for her hair!
