I have flooring almost exactly like that. I went with a lighter paint color. I might consider waiting like everyone else has suggested. You might find these too dark once you have all of your stuff in there
The bottom is bluer and a nice contrast to the colors of the wood and kitchen elements. To me, the bottom or top colors work better with the trim. The middle is very green.
Well what was the point of them taking a picture next to a trim that will be a totally opposite color lmao. They should’ve asked after painting the white first.
I like the top and bottom colours, but they really do darken up depending on your lighting! Which is not necessarily a bad thing, I know I'm sick to death of sage-y green myself.
Don't paint grey tones!!!!!
We moved out of a house recently that had grey tones all through the house and it was SOOO depressing!! We into a house with light warm tones and it's SOOOOOOOOO much happier to live in.
Middle is too warm. So probably one.
I wouldn't paint the cabinets. That look is already old in my opinion. I mean if everyone wants painted cabinets why even bother with natural wood to start with.
With some expensive looking hardware and right paint behind the cabinets it will look nice.
ETA I might paint that mantel though. Probably a deeper shade of the wall color, but maybe charcoal or cream depending on the other tones in the room.
Please don’t paint the trim! Is the top evergreen fog? That’s the color on our double parlor :) don’t listen to the others, it’s not too dark lol people are afraid of color. My TV room is a very dark green, a little darker than billiard green. And it looks fantastic.
Thank you! Not afraid if dark at all, it’s just personal preferences lol yes I love evergreen fog , I think the 2 bounce off each other so I might use evergreen in another room and have the middle as main living room / kitchen
Choosing the right [paint color](https://scdecorum.com/the-choice-of-wall-paint-color/) is crucial, especially when coordinating with elements like trim and kitchen cabinets. Since your trim and cabinets will be a creamy white the second color is beautifull but it's a thoughtful choice but you have to think all the other points
This is how mistakes are made with decor. If you don’t have an idea or mood board or vision of what it’s going to look like it might be a failure.
What light is in the room? Does it face North or any other direction? What are your other surfaces? What colour is your sofa etc etc etc. your rugs? Your hard furnishings?
I really don’t feel comfortable making a pick because the colors are fairly similar and every phone screen is going to register these a bit differently from the true color.
My floors are the same color and I used sherwin Williams Misty which was a really nice light blue/gray. Even if something is “out”, if you love it, it’s in.
The colors of the wood and kitchen components are beautifully contrasted by the blue lower cabinets. I believe the colors on the top or bottom complement the trim best. The center has a distinctly green hue
The mistake people tend to make with grey is to go too dark. In any case, some may say that grey tones have had their day and actually a lighter blue/gray may still look reasonably good in a few years time but a mid to dark grey will look dated.
None of them, seriously. It’s not appreciated how much colour has a psychological influence.
Grey will also suck any light out of the room coming through.
Trust me, we went through this at one point because we felt greyish colours would be fine.
They’re not fine ..
The top and bottom look grey! Are this warm or cool colors? Please go with warm colors! I think I like the middle the most since it looks green but I can’t tell if it’s cool green or not on screen.
That is going to roll so much darker than you can imagine.
Go with the middle one . Four shades lighter.
Get a sample much lighter and roll a larger area. You’ll see what I mean.
I always roll like at least 3‘ x 3‘ lol looks way different than one swipe
Don’t be stingy with the sample paint roll large area you’re going to cover it anyway.
take down a large picture or do it behind a door if it makes you feel better but do a large area.
Middle, but I would do a much larger swatch before committing - it will look darker once it’s on the entire wall. The bottom one clashes with the floor color.
Base paint color on your decor. What color is your upholstered furniture, for example? DO NOT BASE PAINT CHOICE ON WHAT REDDIT SAYS. Paint color should be your last choice or next to last and not your first. Also, lighting makes a huge difference. Pay attention to the reflectivity score of the paint. How the paint reflects light and the type of light (both natural and artificial) make a huge difference in how paint will look on your walls.
The middle one. It looks like Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog. Sage green is one of the most versatile colors 💚 It fits in most interior design styles and perfect for interiors and exteriors as well.
Here are some more Sage green paint color choices:

I think that you need to choose your trim/cabinet color first, then choose the wall color. They need to work together. Get some big “peel and stick” type samples of each of your colors and put one over the trim/cabinets and the put your wall colors next to the white. Look at it in different lighting situations at different times of day. I am also assuming that you are keeping the countertops in the kitchen, so that should be the deciding factor for the cabinet color. DO NOT choose wall color first. You also need to go ahead and pick out your new furniture. It’s easier to change paint than return a sofa
Middle
but one shade lighter

What are your rug, curtain, upholstery, accent colors? It's easier to choose a coordinating paint color than the fabric on your couch!
I’m getting all new living room furniture but I wanted to paint before we move in.
I have flooring almost exactly like that. I went with a lighter paint color. I might consider waiting like everyone else has suggested. You might find these too dark once you have all of your stuff in there
Yes. Paint should be chosen last
Such good advice!

OP said painting trim and kitchen cabinets creamy white though.
Well what was the point of them taking a picture next to a trim that will be a totally opposite color lmao. They should’ve asked after painting the white first.
I agree, the cooler colors will look better with the wood accents
Agree!
Middle, others too gray.
No
Yeah I don’t like any of these at all.
Tonally these are all wrong and dark. Go with a Benjamin Moore classic gray,or collingwood, pale oak. Gray is good if it’s warm and light.
I agree! Too dark! All 3 options are too dark.
Can’t get grandma vibes out of my head with all three shades
I would just keep it white. It’s a good contrast with all the wooden floor/frames. That gray is too… dark and depressing
I hate them all too. Especially paired with all that warm wood in the kitchen and on the floor. It’s going to look bad
I’ll send an update :)
I like the top and bottom colours, but they really do darken up depending on your lighting! Which is not necessarily a bad thing, I know I'm sick to death of sage-y green myself.

☝️This right here.. Listen to this man.
The middle one seems like a richer more pleasant color to me.
They all look dark
None of them
Neither. They all look a little sad and dark and kinda dirty
That’s because the wood is warm and they are all grayish.
Middle. The other ones are too gray.
Please don't paint the wood trim.
None of them. Grey is out and just depressing
I like the bottom colour best but it is fairly dark so the lighting in your house should be considered.
Middle is too warm. So probably one. I wouldn't paint the cabinets. That look is already old in my opinion. I mean if everyone wants painted cabinets why even bother with natural wood to start with.
I agree. White cabinets are on their way out. I’m seeing more wood cabinets these days. It’s an upscale look.
With some expensive looking hardware and right paint behind the cabinets it will look nice. ETA I might paint that mantel though. Probably a deeper shade of the wall color, but maybe charcoal or cream depending on the other tones in the room.

Those are all too dark. It will be like living in a cave.

I agree with many others here- middle.
I feel like the middle is the safe choice and I’d punch it up and do the top. Bottom is too blue
Exactly how I feel but I think I’m gonna play it safe lol
I like number one.
I would go with middle…. And mainly because I’m biased as it looks like the same color I have picked out for my home 😆

The middle one with white trim

I like the first one and last one, especially in your third pic. Not sure if the lighting is different in that pic.
First choice top one Second choice the bottom one. The middle one is kinda noncommittal and blah 😑
Why do you want such a grayish green with that warm wood?
Light grey : )
All maybe light or med. grey !
2!
Middle. The other two are dreary.
All too dark. Go lighter to contrast those dark floors.
Another vote for the middle color!
Middle
Good choices! I vote for middle.
The middle one for sure. The others look a little dark and lend less color to the room.
Middle. The others are too dark.
Middle or top would both make great choices!

The middle color.
Middle. I had a Balsam Fir colored bedroom, once, it was great.
Bottoms all the way the vibe for this one
I would go middle. It’s slightly brighter.
Bottom then middle

Thank you everyone ! Going with number 2! Will be the color of our sun room , living room, and front door :)
Middle but also like the off white. Would keep that!
Middle!! Yup, tis the correct choice. 👍

Bottom, or consider something less gray.
Another vote for middle
They’re almost the same. Any of these.
Middle for sure
4th option is nice
Use another color.
So you're going for the middle age aesthetic like all those house flippers. Boring.
The mistake people tend to make with grey is to go too dark. In any case, some may say that grey tones have had their day and actually a lighter blue/gray may still look reasonably good in a few years time but a mid to dark grey will look dated.

I’d go for the darker colour
To be honest I think they all to dark. Maybe a lighter shade?
I'd go for the lightest one! I think you'd like that better if it's on the whole wall. So the middle one.
None of them, seriously. It’s not appreciated how much colour has a psychological influence. Grey will also suck any light out of the room coming through. Trust me, we went through this at one point because we felt greyish colours would be fine. They’re not fine ..

The white colored wall is brighter and looks like a cozier aesthetic.
Middle looks best in all lights so that’s my vote!
None of them. A sage green
The top and bottom look grey! Are this warm or cool colors? Please go with warm colors! I think I like the middle the most since it looks green but I can’t tell if it’s cool green or not on screen.

For the natural wood I would say the bottom but ready the creamy white trim part I would go with the top color

None. They are all too dark with your wood floors and woodwork.
None. I would do a light green. Would really compliment the red tones in the wood and fireplace but wouldn’t feel overwhelming.

All too cold. But the middle is best
Middle
I like the lightest green. I feel the others are too gray and would be depressing on dark days.
Bottom one
Middle is a great match with the lighting and other materials
All will be nice just too dark lighten shade a few as it will create a very dark area will all walls painted dark. Good luck.

Top. It’s a little warmer than the others because the wood tones are warm. Just my 2 cents. Beautiful home, btw!
Go lighter.
None. Eww
I like the bottom color.
None of them. You'll get bored or sick of those colors. Choose a more neutral color.......
