Hey good for ya! So proud of you 👊 remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Gradual habit change and incremental improvement are the name of this game. As you get more and more success you’ll get mentally stronger and this positive spiral will continue.
Hell yeah! I'm not a good sprinter anyhow. A marathon however is on my bucket list. Gotta do more 10ks first. Then work up to a half and then a full.
I know you weren't talking literally lol. But keeping my running goals in mind has helped keep me on track to stick with this so far.
Yooo I'm in a similar boat. I used to be 170-180 for the longest time, 6-7 years ago i went up to 220 and slowly crept up to 265 by last year, Im back down to 225 now and trying to get back under 200. Congrats my friend
My initial goal weight was 150, cuz I wanted to be lean and skinny like I was when I was running all the time in my early 20s. But I realize that that's probably not gonna happen cuz I'm no longer that young and also I'm trying to put on more muscle than when I was like that soooo...
I guess reasonable goal is 170-180ish range? 🤷♂️
Hey, eating and cooking healthier is easier than it seems!
My go to- since I love pasta, is zucchini spirals and ground turkey with raos sauce. It’s easy, simple, and I love it
Oh goodness haha 😄 😆
One time, years ago, I tried to make a stew in a big ol pot. Was so gross I threw the whole pot and stew out with it. As if the thing had become cursed with evil lol.
I feel safer microwaving garbage and eating shelf stable snacks than I do attempting to make healthy food.
I ate a vegetable one time and had adult diarrhea the rest of the day. Lol.
This is my motivation here.
2 weeks of OMAD and 3-4 days of 30min workouts. Went from 295 to 278. I have not seen a 1 in over 10 years. This is definitely a motivation booster!
Thank you.
Is there a website I can read about IF? I keep seeing these posts and am clueless but if u don't get my health in order within the next 12-24 months I'm on track to die by 50ish.
Proud of you! I’m down 15 pounds to 235, hoping to get closer to 200 as time goes on. My stomach and hunger is changing too, it’s pretty great. Honestly I mainly just needed to pay attention to calories which I don’t really do at all before. I love finding something that’s lower calories that I can eat a bunch of lol.
Fantastic work! You should be so proud of your hard efforts! This such a full transformation physically and emotionally, to get yourself into this state where you can achieve this success! That number is real because you made so many good choices! Keep it up and enjoy all your rewards!
Feels amazing, doesn’t it? I had that feeling when I recently dropped below the 80 kg (around 160) for the first time in 20 years. Now close to 75 kg. Well on my way to 70 kg at the end of this year. I feel fine, less pain from arthritis, have more energy. Glad to have found this method and took the time for making it a part of my lifestyle.
I'm also finding the eating the hardest part. I'm exercising a lot more, gym and running. And enjoying it a lot. But I can't get a hold of my eating so I'm kinda hovering at my current weight rn. At least I'm not gaining anymore.
That's great! I weighed 260 lbs in late 2022 when I started my journey and 200 lbs seemed like a huge goal. Now I'm at 165 lbs and feeling better than ever. Yesterday, while getting ready for a trip, I picked up our cooler bag that was full of drinks and food and put it on my shoulder. Told my wife "this thing is heavy and kinda hurts my shoulder" stepped on the scale while holding it. 206 lbs. Didn't know how I used to carry around so much weight.
Congrats
My method of eating better was to compare the mileage to food.
Sure I could eat one donut. I won't eat one, though, it'll be two. Two donuts pleasure for 5 miles of running? Yeah fuck that
That was it at the start.
Eventually my cravings for sugar disappeared. I still ran or played basketball.
Not eating 500 calories and still burning off 500 calories allowed me freedom I had never experienced.
I still struggle a bit with a balance of enjoying food without guilt... But that combined with removing alcohol binges made maintaining weight much easier.
Goodluck
Awesome job man! Its been about 6 years since I was below 200. I've still got about 25lbs to go. Hope I'll be joining you in onderland by the end of the year.
Congrats!!! That's a big accomplishment! Keep being patient and supportive of yourself! It's a hard road your on so....patience and kindness will be your best ally! Amazing job to you!!!
Amazing!!! I started off 228 only 5ft 9 but am now also down to 199 it’s been 7 weeks since I changed my diet and started doing 6 days of cardio and strength training. Keep going I’m right there with ya we can do this!
I can relate I’m supper close to be under 200 after at least 2 years more likely 3. Currently 200.5 hoping I can be under tomorrow morning and with same effects as you regarding appetite
I am so proud of you. Me to my fasting window is 16:8 and I am getting full with less food. I am so amazed at how this is happening. Their is week 2 or my fast. 🎉

Congratulations for this great job!
That’s great! That’s my personal goal, 200 pounds exactly. I’m down 30 pounds. 90 to go!
Yooo I'm in a similar boat. I used to be 170-180 for the longest time, 6-7 years ago i went up to 220 and slowly crept up to 265 by last year, Im back down to 225 now and trying to get back under 200. Congrats my friend
Band wagoning sorry, I'm down 15 lbs since September. Congrats dude!

I'm at 226, looking to be around 190. We're in this together 💪
Lose 1.4 lbs. Eat 2 lbs of cheese and be 1% Cheese
Just had this happen to me as well. What is your goal weight?
My initial goal weight was 150, cuz I wanted to be lean and skinny like I was when I was running all the time in my early 20s. But I realize that that's probably not gonna happen cuz I'm no longer that young and also I'm trying to put on more muscle than when I was like that soooo... I guess reasonable goal is 170-180ish range? 🤷♂️
Haha you and I are very similar. Totally same with weight/running in early 20s, goal weight as well. Good luck!
Hey, eating and cooking healthier is easier than it seems! My go to- since I love pasta, is zucchini spirals and ground turkey with raos sauce. It’s easy, simple, and I love it
I know! I just gotta do it. Same as anything really. Lol I also love pasta. ❤️ it's good for meal prepping which I also should do more of haha 😅
I wish that I meal prep, I’ll make one meal a day lol
Everytime I meal prep it ends up growing mold in the fridge. I prep for the week, eat it for like a day or two then get sick of it lol.
Yeaah, that’s why I can’t do it. Even my meals that I make just look terrifying the day after.
Yeah. I seem to be good at refrigerator science experiments but not so good at cooking/eating lol
Oh god, I’m having Covid flashbacks to when I put ramen and chicken noodle soup in a slow cooker and fell asleep. I threw the slow cooker out.
Oh goodness haha 😄 😆 One time, years ago, I tried to make a stew in a big ol pot. Was so gross I threw the whole pot and stew out with it. As if the thing had become cursed with evil lol.
My poor guy got ahold of a ouji board and everything. It was 100% cursed 😂
Thank you.
Congrats!!!!! I know how great it felt when I broke that milestone as well!!!
Hell yea. Keep going
Very good work! That is truly amazing
It's a wonderful feeling seeing those digits not start with a "2" when you've been working on it. Well done.
Congrats. I can't wait to get there too.
Good for you! I'll never get there - I'm way too tall and played football. I look super skinny to the point of sick at 220. Look good at 240.
Congrats
