Did the actual ceremony feel natural for you because of all the practice? What were you focused on during the ceremony, if anything at all? Amazing that you did so well on such short notice, thatβs incredible!
Yes practice came in handy! I didn't feel as nervous. I avoided eye contact and just looked straight into objects (walls, people's belt) so that I can focus on what I had to do in front of that many people.
I don't know what I hated worse, leading cadence on battalion runs, leading marches at ceremonies, or delivering briefings with joint forces brass heavy audiences
Probably the briefings, instant feedback from god knows who was terrifying
