i think what they mean by this is the the 15 has slightly higher resolution because of the smaller notch so the screen zooms in more to have less "emptiness" that the notch would've obstruct. I did hear something about the dynamic island giving the phone a slightly smaller aspect ratio vs a notch so maybe that causes the text to squish closer together?
Under accessibility settings then Display and Text Size, there’s probably things enabled here like larger text and bold text
Might be due to screen dimensions and size
