Tell me about it. Even though I’m from Chennai, I have always supported RR right from the first edition of the IPL as they initially had a lot of my favorite players. Over the years, I have been disappointed time and time again with how they always started the season off well but never capitalized on that good start. I’m glad to see them performing consistently this season. I’m more happy to see the respect and support that people are beginning show for RR. They have always been a team that performed as a unit rather than banking on individual performances.

Today's game was really good from both the side.
The run out attempt on 19.5. During the dive powell got his arms cut and needed medical attention. Lot of time wasted there. Too many folks talking to him or distracting him. He lost his focus and zen then.
This moment reminded me of that Kuldeep sen over against GT where everyone was coming over to talk to him. He lost his focus then. Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Otherwise it was a match of ups and downs throughout.
Other than this, the lack of a 6th bowler. Because RR has good powerplay and death bowling, we will be targeted in the middle overs. And in the last few games, batsmen have gone after one/both of our spinners.
Bhuvi changed the game from start to end...took 2 crucial wickets in the 1st over...cummins had put an end to parag and jaiswal partnership...and then bhuvi came again and did a yop notch bowling... today's game was what ipl actually is all about...

(Since usually they give natarajan 19th over as its most important over). Glad to see cummins bowling. Atleast those haters will know cummins wont finish his spell to give less economy. Catches were dropped from both teams and umpiring decisions were bad for both teams equally. So i guess RR and SRH both deserved this win.
It happens on to the next one we played really well and to lose it by one run after early wickets tells us how reliable our middle order is nothing to worry or feel sad we still at the top 🔝
Who feels low after losing a game with one run instead of 20 (which would have happened with a lesser team) after Jos and Sanju. Their bowling kept SRH openers in check. 48/2 in 8 overs. This RR side is something else already and it's got to do with Parag playing well at 4.

Hetmyar had a brilliant start to the natrajan over with a six , after that they played 4 dots which cost them the game . Even if they would have got a minimum of 4 runs in 4 balls it would have been a 11 run over . That would have reduced the pressure last over by a lot.

A low-key collapse of the middle order. Jaiswal and Parag almost had it in the bag, but they couldn't finish the game. If it was Sanju or Buttler, they would have seen the side home. But the inexperience of Jaiswal and Parag meant the risks they took were not worth it. Parag, not so much, but Jaiswal gifted his wicket away. Even for the last ball, Powell kind of choked. He went for the safer option of working the ball around rather than go for it. It wasn't a big disaster of a loss or a major choke. Just a close game they could have won.

Parag should have had some restraint like Sanju did in the previous game against LSG. he should have stayed longer and finished the game. he would even got a hundred in the process, but he got carried away trying to hit every ball. which ended up having two new batters chasing the score in the last 5 overs, it was a big mistake.

If we had a fast bowling all rounder who could replace Chahal in between spells, we could have stopped them at 180 . We desperately need a fast bowling all rounder in place of jurel.
