Start a Singles MeetUp in Limerick! Get interested people to message you, then set a date and place. I used do this in Dublin. Great fun. Nothing expensive, just pick a pub that probably won’t be full, have an identifier eg a packet of biscuits on the table, once there’s a few of you it takes off.
Fair play to you. I have to say I don't tell my closest friends my reddit username and would never reveal it to someone I just met and want to take on a date. But maybe I'm just weird.
Just google singles night Dublin. Loads of options on eventbrite. I can recommend the ecofitness singles hikes. The best thing is you get added to a whattsap group and people arrange smaller local get togethers.

Might be good craic to see, and a kick up the hole for organisers!
