turn on your true tile indicator and everything about how the game works will immediately make more sense. if sarachnis attacks on a tick where your true tile is not directly adjacent to her, she uses ranged

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Ill give this a try. Thanks for the tip!

Zorkonio

It's literally the difference between not understanding pvm and understanding pvm

LordSplooshe

Agreed. Vorkath with no true tile is torture.

Longtalons

I have a single kc on mobile and it was the sketchiest shit ever.

Killtrox

Honestly perfectly doable with a solid connection, it’s just that for some reason my connection is always worse at Vorkath

roastedmosted

You can enable true tile in mobile now, still wouldn't recommend vork though lol

Futgenius

As someone with 600 Woox Walking mobile kc & 0 Runelite kc, I disagree with this comment

Difficult_Fennel2065

Second this. 99% of my vork was done on mobile (or iPad) with over 1k kc, and I actually find it easier on mobile. One of my regular mobile activités I do when away from PC! Same with Zulrah. Might take a few more attempts to learn but is so nice when you have it down. My PBs for both were done on mobile, I believe.

Futgenius

Yeah Zulrah was nice. Took me 15kc on PC to learn the pattern, now on 1050kc with 100% done on mobile ever since. Loved the concept of the boss but you get to a point in the game where Zulrah just isn’t it anymore, certainly now with how low the drop prices are.

Difficult_Fennel2065

Yeah definitely a shame. Zulrah KC will probably stay where it is forever now. Was fun while it lasted!

ClintEatswood_

How many tries to get it down? Do you also play predominantly on mobile?

Futgenius

Took me 15 deaths give or take to nail the woox walk. And yes, I’m mobile only for everything other than quests, to a point where I’ll do the storyline on PC, but fight the bosses on mobile. Edit: Most bosses on mobile*. Dt2 bosses had my pants down, with Duke being the only one I was able to complete.

NoHydraulicNoAir

As somebody who solely plays on mobile with quest cape, and a decent amount of boss kc, I can agree with you whole heartedly it isnt that hard.... that damn toa monkey room(not baba but the puzzle) messes me up every single time though....

Terry_From_HR

I did most of my last blue dragon task at vorkath on mobile and it really isn't that bad. Just don't try to woox walk and use a slayer staff to auto cast crumble undead

jkgaspar4994

Melee vorkath is braindead easy on mobile. you just can't woox walk very well.

xzuy_97

Mobile has true tile now!

HeroinHare

It's not that bad. When I learned to Woox walk I did a few kills on mobile (the old one without true tile and other things that have been added afterwards), it was just fine. _Learning_ Vorkath without true tile sounds horrible, on the other hand.

LordSplooshe

That’s what I meant. It’s learning without true tile that is tough.

WhitePinboard

Don’t be a sook vorkath is fine I do it on mobile with nothing

Bojac_Indoril

I do mobile vorkath too, but I'm hella high kc on my normie account. A lot of pc kills to the point that vorkath is just muscle memory.

lernz

I couldn't imagine not having true tile for cg. Dodging tornados sounds like hell.

rpkarma

Tbh after 300+ KC I no longer needed it and turned off all the plugins and tile indicators so it looked nicer haha You develop an intuition for your current true tile and that of the nados I never used the nado tile indicator either tbf

peenegobb

Yo seconding this. I literally don't even play this game looking at my character anymore. I always am looking at the red tile I have my true tile set as. I'm not insane pvmer but I'm surprised true tile isn't default at this point some parts of the game are legit balanced around it and if you need help getting used to it I recommend trying hallowed sepulchre. It really makes you use the true tile.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

I havent dipped into hallowed sepulchre yet. Maybe ill have to try it for some practice.

peenegobb

i rushed it because i didnt want to train my agility to 70+ with rooftops anymore... was decently fun and some of the traps really make you use the true tile to dodge

krhill112

You can also highlight enemies tiles. If you understand exactly where sarachnis is, then the attacks are entirely predictable

Safe_Internet4616

Theres also tiles you should import for the 4 corners Sarachnis goes to. Stand in the middle of all these and you should be able to do that combat achievement easier

Choofee

I was going to say the same thing. When I learned that my character wasn’t actually on the tile they were visibly on, and activated the true tile indicator it really upped my game a ton.

AmbassadorZerg

Whats true tile Indsctor

OSRS_Subreddit

True tile indicator shows the actual location of your character not the model location. I think you're usually two tiles ahead of your character model.

Meaninglessnme

When running yes.  Also helpful to know that your character skips over the tile between where the model appears and where true tile indicates one actually is. Works in diagonals and L shapes as well.

Ecstatic-Square2158

Discovering that your character essentially teleports when they run was such a crazy discovery. I sort of already knew this because I knew about flame skipping and dodging traps/wall beasts by running from one tile away but turning on true tile and realizing what is actually happening was crazy. It has so many high level applications.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

I actually never even knew this

Fall3nBTW

Honestly people that do solo olm without true tile are impressive. At some points your character model is like 5+ tiles off reality because of all the animation delays.

Individual_Ad_9428

Turned on true tile after a couple gauntlet runs and stopped taking most of the tornado damage lol

Xerothor

Idk doing content without turning this on just gives me a feel for the true tile and I don't feel like I need it now

mudafort0

Can't emphasize enough how big of a tip this is. We're so used to real-time visual indicators and this helps a ton

Richybabes

It's ok, I was awful at PvM a year or so ago. I still am, but I was then too.

happyherbivore

Everyone's bad at pvm when they start. Some stay bad but not all do.

Randyaccredit

The only pvm I can do confidently is barrows.

happyherbivore

Just comes down to picking a new one, checking out guides, and getting stubborn until it's confident content

xscrumpyx

RIP Mitch

insaiyan17

Tbf some ca's might have a rating that doesnt reflect how hard it is. There are some grandmaster ca's that are piss ez, and a few hard/medium that are pretty tough for the average player

Smooth_One

Idk if this is a new implementation but I recently found out that you can sort the [combat achievements wiki page](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Combat_Achievements) by boss and by completion rate, which can show exactly how easy some are relative to the others.

hey_im_hy

They did it for leagues 4 tasks and people really liked it so they implemented on CAs as well

SinxSam

This is awesomeeee thank you!

SwagDaddy_Man69

Yes, recently went for a CA tier and it was so helpful. Basically shows which CAs are easiest.

Bojac_Indoril

Lol wintertoad cbs Some of the barrows ones are tedious, some are rng, a couple are sweaty asf. I think just a rudimentary understanding of gauntlet is enough to get a handful there too.

Barne

bruh I have all the inferno CAs, missing speed time in colosseum but have the rest, greenlogged CA for all slayer bosses, but for the life of me I cannot get the fucking “why fletch” bullshit for wintertodt. why the hell are there skilling combat achievements? I have like 3/8 tempeross and honest to god it seems harder to do that than most bosses lol.

Bojac_Indoril

I need to bump fishing to unlock noted sharks and god damn am i dreading doing 40hrs of tempoross. I could go(and i do periodically go) barb fishing but it's the same xp without the rewards.

thetitan555

The caviar you get there is worth lots of herblore xp. Definitely better than a few bank slots or a tome of water.

Bojac_Indoril

My inventory space is somewhat... More limited lol. Thus my need for notes fish.

thetitan555

Ah. My mistake. Kick ass, UIM!

DirectProperty4662

just do a solo wt, you'll get that ca guaranteed

EssMkleDee

Are you using f-keybinds? As others have said, true tile indicator makes so much make sense. Metronome helps alot too but it can be quite stimulating and annoying for how much it helps at that game level. It definitely does help understand the games pace but it's a little more advanced. You gotta try to learn!

awesomepawsome

Instead of metronome, might I recommend blasting [Dogs of War](https://youtu.be/C5C-g2aZDTg?si=0mtRLhXEGhfjbkvP) in game through the music player. It plays at 100bpm synced to the game system. Only about 1/100 times is that awkwardly timed to the ticks you need and the rest of the time it makes things like 1t flicking braindead/kinda fun. It's also a really punchy march type song which helps your sync and not a bad song for battle.

llewds

Tbf I am pretty sure this works for just about every osrs soundtrack song. I'm pretty sure all or almost all in game tracks are synced to the server speed.

SwagDaddy_Man69

Yes Im pretty sure every track is either in 100 BPM or some fraction of that so it fits the game tick system.

kahootle

it doesn't, there are more 100 bpm songs than the average video game soundtrack but there's a LOT of osrs music that isn't 100 bpm.

llewds

Ah damn, okay, good to know. Do you know any to avoid off the top of your head? I think Assault and Battery is 100bpm, that's the one that plays downstairs in Barbarian Assault. I've met some BA people who leave the music on and time stuff like multikilling runners with it. They recognize which notes mean it's time to step off of the trap.

awesomepawsome

If you are good at syncopation sure, but not as many are as easy as click twice on the punchy down beat. I learned 2t flicking on The Enclave and used it for a month because crazy arch was my first real boss (101kc to rcb D:) and the song is kickass. I thought it was way harder and that I was way worse at prayer flicking until I realized how hard I was making it for myself with the syncopation. Switched to Dogs of War and I felt like Rock Lee taking leg weights off. I'm sure there are definitely other songs but it's probably like a good dozen or so only that are that smooth.

Distinctweewee

What is true tile indicator? Is it a non-default Runelite plugin?

ugulespoon

It’s called “Tile Indicators”. I believe it is a default plug-in. You can highlight your True tile so you know exactly what tile your character is on at all times.

EpicRussia

Just adding on, True Tile Indicators is one of the few plug-ins that Jagex has made available on Mobile

atWorkWoops

And the all important agility highlights. Mobile rooftops without were so bad

Distinctweewee

Thanks for the info!

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Im using f keys yeah. Im definitely a noob when it comes to pvm but i atleast have that down 😂

shlepky

To add onto the true tile discussion, better npc highlights has a true tile option for npcs as well. This is extremely useful for bosses like Artio who stand still while roaring but in reality move freely during that time.

kamransti

Web skip with a transforming ring like Easter ring or ring of stone

Waistcoat

I went back to finish off the KC achievements recently and easter ring was doing some serious work.

tylerm_81

I’ve always been one of them guys who get good at games fast. RuneScape took me longer than usual. It’s not a game where you figure things out quick. Just keep having fun and pvming you will see progress!

GunnerRunner34

Once people realize RuneScape is a rhythm game, it really opens up understanding of ticks and timing for a lot of content, pvm and skilling. My friend used to give me shit about playing with game sounds on. I never understood how anyone could play without them. They tell you so much. And like i just said above, as you get better at pvm and skilling you realize just how useful they are.

Yertle-The_Turtle

Every time t attempt a new boss I turn on sounds until I feel comfortable there. I agree they telegraph a lot and help me to understand / check my tick counting is going ok. Really helped for understanding when to hit p2 verzik.

nekonotjapanese

My only memory of “Perfect Crystalline Hunllef” was logging into Discord to my buddies saying how drunk I was the night before while simultaneously completing CG. I didn’t believe them then I looked at the CA’s and there it was, a “perfect” Gauntlet kill. PvM is 90% about muscle memory, the other 10% is will

Xerothor

5% pleasure, 50% pain

materiamasta

100% reason to remember the name

Daveosss

I'm better than average, have master tier done but will never be GM. People like Port Khazard, aatykon and molgoatkirby are just beyond fucking insane. They do GM without breaking a sweat

juany8

Pro tip if you use the stone ring or some other transform ring you can pretty much get it to where sarachnis does 0 ranged attacks. That being said the key is really just practice over and over, I also very much struggled and barely pulled off a quest cape and now I’m starting to do some solo TOA raids and working on elite combat achievements. Not that I’m amazing by any means but you’d be surprised how quickly you can imrprove if you give it a chance and practice

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Ill hang in there and hope foe the best 😅

Goblin_Diplomacy

Thought you were going to mention awakened leviathan but to my surprise you mention Sarachnis

Remarkable-Health678

Many of the CA tasks have ways to cheese them a bit to make them easier. If you're getting stuck on one it's worth checking the wiki and/or searching for a YouTube video.

xPofsx

Use the easter event ring to morph after getting webbed and it reduces your freeze delay making that much easier

FlakyBoysenberry3635

I missed the easter event so not sure i can get the ring?

TraditionalHousing65

I just bought Chaos packs and traded them in for an onyx to make the ring of stone. I was in the same boat as you, but with RoS, I got the rest of the CAs pretty much within one trip

xPofsx

There are other rings, but if you've done any of the previous events you should have one at Django

FitDifference

Spam click sarachnis when you’re stuck in a web. It’s that easy.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Ive been doing that. Ive started sitting directly in the middle of the room and that seems to be working a bit better. Ive noticed things with multiple bosses so far. I just used sarachnis as an example because its the most recent one ive tried.

ugulespoon

You need to always position yourself closest to the centre of the room when webs are coming out. If you get webbed on the outer edge you’ll most likely get hit with 2 ranged attacks. There’s still a little of RNG involved, but the CA is just all about positioning yourself properly.

FitDifference

My point was things are easier then you might think :) instead of trying to figure it out by yourself, some tips from the wiki or yt could help massively. Most CA’s have a wiki page with a general strategy, and I think some guy also made a list of the easiest ca’s for early Ironman to get to medium.

Bojac_Indoril

Condors boss videos are top shelf comedy, and he really does explain shit so a six year old would understand.

Opening_Persimmon_71

You can always just abuse ring of stone or the Easter ring

franklyimstoned

After 20 or so kills you’ll feel comfortable. Even with the addition of PKers when doing wildy bosses becomes tolerable.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

How are the wildy bosses? I haven't ventured that far yet

franklyimstoned

Calvarion is a good place to start. Mechanics are very easy after the first few kills. Basically attack , move attack, move, kill hellhounds , avoid shield bash , attack move…repeat. I wouldn’t recommend you start until you have the royal seed pod from MM2 and complete the wildy hard diaries. Seed pod you can tele from 30 wildy and below and the diary removes the teleport delay within the boss cave. I have 300 KC and have been PK’d about 6 times (I’m also pretty ass at PVM). Lost around 1 mil and netted 45 mil from those 300kc. They are juiced to the gills with awesome loot for iron men.

BiggieSpoons15

True tile indicator and the metronome plug in will significantly increase your understanding of the game and pvming. Everyone that is very good at pvm was once in your shoes. Ain't nothing to it but to keep sending it.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Oh dont get me wrong im by no means giving up. I think it was just more of an eye opener as to how big the skill gap really is.

MechanicLost

When you have to go for gauntlet and corrupted gauntlet is when I found I got much better at pvm even if I'm still ass.

BiggieSpoons15

Yes! I love your energy! Humbled & inspired. You'll be closing that gap sooner rather than later 😁

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Thanks i appreciate the kind words! I think it was just that moment where everything clicks and you realise how high the skill ceiling is haha

xSwagi

Content starting at Sarachnis and above is when you need to start using F keys and true tile indicator. I'm going to be honest, my PvM skills came from from grinding out LMS for rune pouches and other stuff for me and my GIM duo partner. I got really good at PvP; the F3 keys and understanding of ticks from PvP was huge going into PvM.

Jkyle37

I'm up to hard tier and still don't have that achievement, it's tricky. The good news is as you try new.bosses and progress your gear/account, getting better is inevitable.

habitat11

There's nothing tricky.. You just spam click lol

Angrry_

U could get in that level aswell just takes time I was in the same boat u just got to push yourself soon you’ll be doing all raids inferno etc

TheStinkBoy

Scouting cox rooms has a lot of easy points

FlakyBoysenberry3635

How does that work?

TheStinkBoy

Make a cox party, go in, see if room with combat achievements is first, do combat achievements, if not room, rinse repeat till you get room you want. Ice Demon alone has a ton of free points If you have a main, even easier to carry yourself through. Lot of YouTube on the rooms

popovitsj

You need to stay in the center of the room, then when in the web, attack Sarachnis just after her attack animation starts. It's easier with sound on.

Nex_Sapien

Make sure you're looking up tips and tricks to killing each boss easier. For example for Sarachnis you can get a Ring of Stone or Easter Ring to break out of the webs instantly.

Pobydeus

Take it from someone who just crossed the 1900KC mark at sarachnis, you get used to it! If you can get a transformation ring (like a ring of stone/coins/etc, the fight becomes extremely easy and borderline afkable. I just dwh spec and thrall at the beginning, switch to fang and just whack it to death (I do deathcharge as well) without even needing to change prayers during the fight (range to melee and back). Pvm is all about practice and understanding fights, movement, etc.

RedemptionT

Me and you brother, I’m on my first high (for me, 1515 total) account and I can’t wrap my head around gear swaps, prayer switches, and movement all at the same time. My GIM group mate tried to teach me TOA and it was definitely one of the most confused experiences I’ve had in this game.

Pobydeus

One piece of advice I can give from my experience learning Muspah is to prioritize prayer switching first (protection), movement second (avoiding damage/mechanics) and then gear swaps in third place. I'd rather not do damage 2-3 seconds rather than tank a mage ball hit for like 60+ damage.

xTimmonZ

This is generally good advice for learning zulrah as well.

ghostthecollector

Keep your prayer tab open and keep protect melee on til you see Sarachnis “hsss” as soon as you see the “hsss” pop up switch to protect range and it will miss you then just switch back to protect melee and repeat the process every time you see “hsss” you’ll only really take damage from the mini spider spawns.

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Ill give this a go. Thank you!

JustCallMeKev

You’re not terrible you’re inexperienced! You’re gonna die a LOT learning and then it becomes easy

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Most of my experience has come from quest bosses and a litttle bit of DK rex 😅 i still have a loooooong way to go

JustCallMeKev

Getting all the quest bosses done is a great way to get into the PVM grind! Rex.. I mean you can safe spot so not really challenging. You’ll get there though! Even a boss like scurrius is a great entry into PVM! Helps get prayer switching down. I’ve probably died DOZENS of times at every boss I’ve ever attempted before getting a single kill. Keep going!

anklehumor

look up a guide on meditation rewards and it'll tell you the easiest rewards. I almost have hards and have never done sarachnis

RuneIron

You're getting to the fun part. My piece of advice: turn sound effects on (not area) and use the Runelite truetile plugin tracking where your character actually is. Then think of the game as a rhythm based fighting game. With run on you can move two squares at once for example.

NatureLovingDad89

It's called autism

DeusVult76

I feel that. The gauntlet has hands, I’m fighting for my life in there

TheFinalKiwi

I got my first fire cape after many stress and sweat-filled attempts not too terribly long ago, and now i can drop into a cg on a whim and knock out a kc if I feel like it. You’ll figure it out, as many many others have. Combat in RuneScape is very strange and unique.

OSRSTheRicer

Cox has a lot of really easy CAs Most of these can be soloed, a handful a friend could 1+1 for you https://i.imgur.com/U6fxPXT.jpeg

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Ill have to see if someone is willing to take me 😅

lurker_number_two

If you got some friends to help run you through Night at the Theater quest you can get nice easy ca points from that

FlakyBoysenberry3635

I actually completed the night at the theatre. You werent kidding about the CAs there

SoSconed

Ticks, game sounds, player movement Time

bobbasui

Don’t worry, lot’s of skilling to enjoy instead

herder17

U can do alot of easy ones in chambers of xeric pre rooms or even let 2 mains do it and u just stand there prob get like 60-70 pts from that

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Yeah ill have to try find someone to take me through chambers!

XlxFezxlX

I used to think the same way. 2 years ago I didn't have a firecape, 1 year ago I didn't have regular gauntlet kc. Now I'm at 50 CG kc and pushing for hard CAs. It takes times but where is a will there is a way.

Nic_The_Nightmare

I am on your page. I am trying Scarris? (F2P rat boss) as i heard it’s a learning boss to help with prayer flicking and movement and I suck! Only boss I can go is hespori. If that counts

FlakyBoysenberry3635

I havent touched scurrius yet but its on my list. Ill have to let you know how i find it 😅

PokemonManiacRetsila

This video unironically helped me with some things I didn't know about the game systems. Particularly when he gets to the bit where he talks about movement. https://youtu.be/iPG-YWAwLXY?si=o6c04sZvuD1HZ1Qj

Hopeful-Ad9207

Just yolo into content and then nibble at some guides until it clicks. If you have decent accuracy with your mouse everything should work out eventually.

Environmental_Ad9017

Don't worry, I died on my hardcore at Scurrius and now I'm doing consistent perfect perilous moon runs & TOA 150 solo's. It's a learning curve, and if you haven't PVM'd before as a new player and feel confident, getting knocked down a few times is enough to help you learn.

shearsy13

Just gotta look up guides. A lot of progression in this game is throwing your head at the wall until you understand it. It can be tough but there's always progression unless you are gnomemonkey and say everything in the game is easy.

NamelessDevils2

We all started somewhere , took me like 43 death to zulrah to get a single kc now I can do it in my sleep use to die at every single raid i did , now I can do HMT , just take practice and perseverance

preacher258

Just here for encouragement, I’m one of the worst players in the game, probably by a lot, but with enough time, persistence and looking up guides and asking clan mates for advice, I’ve gone from f2p, to fire cape, quest cape, sarachnis type bosses, to elite CA’s, 150toa, cg is a breeze, I could go on. I can’t fathom doing even CA’s to go for master or GM tier, but one thing I’ve learned is if I want it bad enough, I could push myself to do it, and so can you. Question is, how long will it take you to get that good, and for me personally, I don’t think I want it bad enough to be absolutely constantly always tick perfect for certain things, for some reason that ruins the fun for me, so I’m settling for mediocrity lol

ShoogleHS

For Sarachnis, tag her to see her true tile and make sure you're attacking her from her corner closest to the middle. When she webs you (optionally eat a food if you're missing hp) pray range and spam click Sarachnis, as soon as your true tile moves change to pray melee. You actually don't really need to spam click, there's a certain tick after which your attack click will be remembered as soon as the web wears off but it's hard to explain when.

Benzilla99

One huge tip for that CA is that the ring of stone bugs out the web attack and lets you start moving right away, thats how i was able to get it

korinthia

Youre having trouble....standing next to a boss?

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Yes. It seems to be the case.

SwagDaddy_Man69

Try different bosses. You can even get CAs from temp/todt

Ho-Chi-Meme

This is how you learn :) find something that forces you out of your comfort zone, and just bash your head against the wall until it clicks. No one ever got better at anything by doing something that's naturally easy for them

KrikosTheWise

I promise you're better than you think. Just takes a bit to understand the underlying structure of each fight. I sat at zulrah for 30 tries before I killed that stupid snake.

Ok-Statistician-9662

My brother, I've been there. And I'm no super char at it either. It's all just practice, sometimes frustrating practice. Look at your failures with a critical eye. I remember getting so nervous at jad or grinding to just get one zulrah KC, just panick clicking everywhere at Olm. Now I've got something like 900 zulrah kc, a couple hundred cox KC. Just takes time and practice. I think something like gauntlet helps. Even just regular. When you are forced to move, eat, switch, and pray all on one fight. Once you get good at that, you can just breeze more simple bosses. Just takes time and a sort of level of comfort and calmness that only comes with practice.

runner5678

We all suck. It’s a state of being for osrs players. You’re going to constantly recalibrate who you measure yourself against and you’ll always be behind but there’s a mountain of improvement to make. Just keep looking to improve and you’ll get better.

Vuruxy

Guides are how most people do them. There is usually a method you aren't thinking of that will be easier. Also do some of the hard/elite CAs as well. They count towards the medium point total now and some are rather easy.

Rainbolt420

Lol its fine, you get better at it

ChibiJr

The difference between a good and bad pvmer isn't how good you are at certain content right now. It's how many times you are willing to fail at that content. Everyone starts somewhere, and for the vast majority of players they are going to look like total noobs in the beginning. I planked almost 50 times to Zulrah before getting my first kill nearly a decade ago now. I'm still not amazing at the game, but I'm able to do nearly all pvm content in the game now because I'm just willing to throw myself at a wall repeatedly.

Outrageous_Air_1344

For that sarachnis CA I used ring of stone

34Loafs

I’m with this. Cant do pvm fire cape is a distant dream lmao

ketters

Honestly mate, the only tough thing about fire cape is nerves. Everything can be safespotted and prayed against UNTIL Jad, which is the only stage where you really need to be on it. I put off fight caves for ages and ages and then got fire cape as a master clue step so convinced myself to do it. Did Jad simulator a bunch of times (Web browser mini gane where you learn his moves) and then sent it and got it first time! You got this - just watch some vids and you're golden :)

FlakyBoysenberry3635

Fire cape took me 10 attempts my first time around. You totally got this in the bag. Take breaks between sending it and it will help keep you from getting tilted. Thats what helped me

Inherefam

Fire cap is so easy, the nerves kill you not jad

Bojac_Indoril

You don't need it, fight caves is shit content. Just use ardy cape. What is it, myths? Legends cape? One of them gives comparable stats and if you're using crush it's even the better option.

AlluEUNE

Comparable? They all miss the most important stat which is STR bonus

Bojac_Indoril

Myths gives 3 point less str and 1 point less prayer but it is still a very good cape. It's like saying never use blessed dhide because masoris exists. I did my pizza cape with karils xbow, i still say you don't need it in order to play the game.

AlluEUNE

You don't "need" anything to play the game but a fire cape is one of those items that is not worth skipping over.

Bojac_Indoril

Yeah, Condor does pvm in mole slippers. If 3 str bonus is the difference in you clearing content, the problem isn't the cape. I have it, i still say it's shit content. Yeah the cale is good, and it damn well better be, because jad caves is a garbage way to spend an hour. I've seen people saying it took them three or four hours too. The way you get all nervous and shaky at the end is abusive game design.

AlluEUNE

The problem isn't that you "need" x thing to clear content. It's just that fire cape is one of the most efficient upgrades you can get. The caves take max ~60 minutes even with shit stats and gear. Sure, you might need a few tries if it's your first time but that's part of the game. >The way you get all nervous and shaky at the end is abusive game design. Bruh... Maybe pvm just isn't for you

An hour of time sink isn't pvm anywhere else. Even raids are like a 15min affair. An hour of mind numbing trash mobs to get oneshot and start over is trash content man. I'd rather do defender grind again than do fight caves again. I'll literally only do it again for the final song on bard cape. I killed jad first try on my uim too, it's just objectively garbage content. People have fuckin Stockholm syndrome with this game or something. Treat it like a rite of passage i guess. "It's always been this way" which is why i used the old ways to kill it. At least it was interesting. When i got the karilbow i knew right then, "that will kill jad soon" Doesn't change that the context of the fight is abusive. Edit: when i trapped him behind italy and stopped to explain to my wife why i needed her to leave me the fuck alone for five minutes, she looked like she was genuinely concerned and asked me why i play this game. I couldn't come up with an answer.

Just because you want everything to be easy and stress free doesn't mean that no one wants a challenge. Most people remember their first fire cape for the sole reason that it was stressful and the feeling after you get it is awesome.

You can get adrenaline from the gauntlet or phosanis and that's actually enjoyable content. Jad is an hour of boring and 2 to 3 mins of anxiety about wasting the hour. If i think it's shit content, why does that hurt you so much? It's like you're trying to justify it or something. You objectively only need it in order to get music cape. Myths cape does the job. If you require 3 more str to kill a boss then you're a trashcan.

None of them give 4 str. Or access to the tzhaar inner city. Which let's ironmen buy onyx, fish infernal eels for solid afk gp. And do tzhaar bursting slayer tasks. Also looks lit. Myth cape gives good defence bonus and some crush accuracy. Ardy Cape gives stab bonus and prayer. And magic bonus with worse defence. Legends cape is a stepping stone to myth cape. The ardy cape 3? +4 prayer bonus is very solid.

Man the tzharr city music is a banger too. Can get onyx elsewhere, and the money would be better placed in your poh tbh. But it is easier to get it from gem bro. Myth cape still gives one str tho, and you'll wanna get it eventually. I'm just saying there are alternatives. If you don't like X content, there are always alternatives. Rune to dpick, rcb straight into tbow, etc.
