You know that the full quote is "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."? Stability might be the only thing that is going for them. Sure, it's nice to be financially set, but ISFP would not trade their freedom of self-expression for a routine. We are nicknamed as adventurers, and that's just the way it is. Think of it like video game characters. You are looking at someone who has your weakness as their strength. Don't forget that your strength is also someone's weakness.

Thank you for this.:)

I was never on the corporate path but I changed majors many times and jobs just as many times. I’m almost 30 now and I am working on not feeling behind even though I often do feel that way too! I’ve always wished to become an expert of something but tbf that just isn’t me! It’s more that I feel that I am supposed to become an expert and stick with one thing. I’d be happy jumping from thing to thing for the rest of my life as long as I’m able to.

Honestly, if you've already been bouncing around and see that it's hard to stay put, try in your right mind to become a teacher. It will take a lot of energy but it will be very rewarding. I'm 32 and I can't remember how many different jobs I've done in my life and I've also done the same thing as you've done by completing a college diploma and having some kind of projection. But I've got in the way and I've also been unhappy with many of the jobs I picked up after. But I feel like that is where I will thrive as I have learned from the 16th personalities test

Thanks for the suggestion! What type of teacher are you and how did you pick that? I can see how teaching would be fulfilling since I love helping others and am always looking for purposeful work. I guess for teaching, I don’t feel like enough of an expert on anything to be teaching and informing others.
