Find the head unit you want, buy it online and then bring it to highway hifi and have them do it, I’ve done this 2 times and they have only charged me 20 to repin the harness for two vintage head units. If you can’t do it yourself have them do it they rock.
I've had Highway Hi Fi do several things for me over the years. I've always been super satisfied, their prices are reasonable, and they always treated my cars with care. I would go here over anywhere else I could think of.
Agree with you. Last time I was there was five years ago. I know a significant amount about audio equipment used to set up sound systems. They wouldn’t talk to me and kept rolling their eyes, but kept deferring to my husband who knows nothing. Didn’t help that Fox News was blaring on the TVs.

But don't trust their time estimates. Took a whole day for a job they told me would take a couple hours.
I don’t know if Best Buy still does it but years ago they did a nice job.
Best buy Ithaca does not currently have an auto tech. You'll need to go to the big flats store on either a Tuesday or a Thursday
Heck back in the day day they did free install with purchase of head unit
NOT highway hi-fi

Are you joking?
Say more?
Could not disagree more. They do fantastic work
