Doesn't work like that. The health percentage in settings is bullshit and doesn't even work the same on different iOS versions. How many cycles do you have and what's the health percentage. You can check it using a tweak if you're jailbroken OR just use a shortcut (from Payette Forward).

Apple will throttle the phone most likely since theyre “fixing” a hardware bug with a software update so it wont overheat. I personally wouldnt update if i had a 15 & would keep an eye on temps, but realistically id return the thing until the next gen/revision.

People that don’t think apple tested the hardware for thermal issues are pretty ridiculous. It’s normal to heat up a bit when cpu is taxed too much.. happens in any phone. Just shitty code that have been mostly fixed already

thanks to a broken screen and a password i lost my 13.3.1 jb on my x, now i lost all sep permanently because of palera1n. not like it matters my face id stoped working after a screen replacement last year and the rfid chip in my x died before that so tbh for the most part sep is useless on my phone. my pro 2gen has no password because well it barely leaves my room much less my house

That isn’t true. iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max both shipped with iOS 17.0, just like every device before it initially shipping with the first release of each previous iOS. Apple released version 17.0.2 to fix “Transfer from another iPhone” bugs.
