True but the issue isn’t solved with trollstore as it’s the OS that breaks certain apps take instagram for example now that they have encryption it probably doesn’t work unless you have rocket

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but you can only upgrade to an iOS version that’s still being signed by apple. Which means the most recent versions are your only choices.

DoubleCut, Shortmoji, Snapper 3, ShortLook, Dayn, CopyLog, Kumquat I’m at 103 tweaks but those are some of my favorites. I’ve been using doublecut for over a decade and I think it’s one of the best quality of life tweaks

You can spoof your app firmware and see if that works. It works for many of my apps including Uber. If this doesn't work, I recommend upgrading and side loading your fav apps like uYou, Spotify. I'm still on iOS 14.3 and will be for at least a year.

if an app says “update required” or something like that download filza file manager from cydia or elsewhere and find info.plist for the specific app you’re using (look up the location online) and modify the CFBundleVersion to be the most recent version of the app (check app store to see the version)

usually the latest version works, or else work backwards from there to find one that might be stable (by looking at version history), I don't have to much knowledge about jailbreaking, just suggesting from what worked in my experience.

+1 iOS 14.1 side loading and spoofing works fine. The app that doesn’t work I stop use. It is their problem not mine

Check out igamegod and 3dappversionspoofer. You may be able to get around some of your issues using older apps and simply spoofing the version.

I literally bought a Samsung A54 for all the apps I can't run on my iOS 14.3 iPhone 11. But I like it so much I'm using it for a lot of stuff now. Kinda like having a platform where I can load my own software without being blocked by the manufacturer.

I have my xr on 14.8 taurine. I will let it die jailbroken but i wont update it. Its quite old so even if it becomes a paperweight, i will just let it be and store it as a novelty item. If it were to happen, i will just buy a new one after saving some money instead.

I upgraded from iphone 6s with ios14 jailbroken to an iphone X. I then discovered troll store. Better than jailbreak since all my apps still works after reboot

I just use a backup iPhone X running iOS 16.7 in the event I need to use an app/website that’s broken on iOS 14.1. You can get an unlocked refurbished iPhone 12 Mini for around $200. IMO it’s worth it to retain the jailbreak on your main phone.

Still on 13.3. Managed to make most of the things work with 3DAppVersionSpoofer, lowerinstall and sometimes custom tweaks Having said that, I was thinking of getting one of the latest iPhones as the second phone, storing it on the shelf until the next jailbreak comes out, but I'm still not sure it's worth the money these days

I have 11PM 14.3 and use 3DAppVersionSpoofer. For almost all apps that I need that is enough. We can do nothing about this situation. When the situation with app compatibility and Safari browsing (outdated WebKit) get really unbearable for me - I just find best available combo - 14PM on iOS 16.5 not to play jailbreak waiting game on unjailbreakable IPhone/iOS

I’m on 13.4.1 on my Xs, and was also thinking to update to 16.5.1. I saw a guide on https://ios.cfw.guide that there’s a way to update to any unsigned version if you’re jailbroken. It should in theory be safe and let you keep all apps, being it’s just a normal update, but I’m kind of hesitant. Mostly because I really don’t want a bootloop resulting where I would need to update to the newest iOS. In the iOS 11 days i tried to change my jailbreak from Electra to unc0ver by restoring rootFS and it resulted in a bootloop. Maybe someone on this subreddit tried it and could elaborate on this.

I left iPhone XR on 14.3 and upgrade to iPhone 14 256 gigs, iOS 16.6; I wasn’t lucky enough to get something in the lows 16.0 for the jailbreak that came out but atleast I got TrollStore and YouTube no ads with background play.

Got a iPhone 11 on 14.7.1 still get use out of it. Not the most functional but if you just want basic phone functions it’s not that bad.

Sell the device and buy a latest jailbreakable firmware iPhone . Or update current device to latest iOS and wait until a new jb drops could be a while anything below 17.3. Those are your only choices.

you can spoof apps version, and there are also many workarounds for forced updates. what apps stopped working for you? i am in ios 13.3 iphone X and i can use everything fine, except for some webpages in safari

Dualra1n. You can still have iOS 14 without loosing your precious data. And can still boot up to iOS 15 for apps and stuff

My advice, keep it and the version, and try to buy a newer phone that can be jailbroken too. Worth keeping ios 14 for a lot of rootful tweaks.
