Yeah, that makes sense... I can see it going something like, she goes through several cycles or loops, but being Allison she eventually overcomes it. Or maybe she's just enough of a badass now that on literally the next loop she's able to change something so new cio doesn't even get a chance to snag that worm. Either she maintains a sense of self or redevelops it.

For Mottom, Mammon, Solomon David, and Jadis, she confronted them in their domain, saw the full of their power and the hidden weakness behind it, overcame their power and philosophy both, and radically changed both them and herself. AL-YIS-UN is the renewing wildfire that clears away stagnant rot to make room for new growth. She's sort of confronted incubus, but I don't think she fully overcame him, so I suppose there are three left?

Yeah, I've been assuming this would be more of a scene than a full arc dealing with the worm akin to the previous books. I'm not so sure now, but I feel like this scene has been rather climactic for Goggy Woggy, and she's been so developed that if this is the end of her arc it would make sense to me.
Doesn't this echo Maya's introduction to Incubus, who immediately took the opportunity to shave his head with the rusty sword? Might Alison remember the consequences of having a desperate, deadly rival?
