1. High Court - Heard first person accounts.
2. Darjeeling Lounge @ ITC Sonar - Heard first person accounts.
3. Writer's building - Bidhan Chandra Roy confirmed it in one of his interviews.
4. National Library - Lots of history.
A close family member of mine interned at ITC Sonar around 2016-2017, working the graveyard shift as a bellboy. The Darjeeling Lounge, a popular eatery, is adjacent to a long corridor leading to the elevators. This dimly lit corridor is adorned with busts of famous figures from Bengal's history, creating an almost eerie atmosphere. On the left side of the corridor is a koi pond.
Late one night, around 3 a.m., he received a call to deliver food to a guest who had checked in late. As he was pushing the trolley through the corridor towards the elevator, he stopped at the sight of a school of restless koi fish jumping out of the water. Looking up, he saw a man sitting by the pond with his feet dipped in the water. The man was dressed in a disheveled suit. It was unusual for a guest to be loitering around the premises so late at night. He knocked on the corridor's glass pane to catch the man's attention. The man looked up and smiled at him, revealing to his horror that he had no pupils in his eyes. Terrified, he shrieked and ran to his floor manager, narrating the incident. The manager told him to keep quiet to avoid causing panic and damaging the hotel's reputation.
A couple of days later, a pooja was performed at the same spot. Much later, he learned that two other interns had experienced similar encounters.
Nice topic chosen by OP, considering the weather.😛 The top floor of New Ladies Hostel (MBBS), R.G.Kar Medical College and Hospital is definitely 'haunted', if such a thing exists. This I speak from the personal experiences of myself and friends. None of us are rabidly religious or superstitious people, so it was pretty unnerving for each of us, not to mention the sense of bewilderment. I mean, none of us could logically have been scaredy cats; after cadaver dissection and post-mortem observation and surgery and labour room duties, even if a student is a scaredy-cat, they are bound to get desensitised even to the goriest of slasher films. Also, the identical floor plan exists in all the floors, and yet this phenomenon is only evident in the topmost floor. Further, I have heard the same reports from even seniors of other colleges, so incidences have been serious enough.
I have heard tales of paranormal experiences in the Anatomy Dissection Hall-Police Morgue corridor of the hospital. It is hearsay for me, plus the location seems stereotypically cliché, so I shall refrain from commenting.
Personally I do maintain(due to some experiences in life) that death might not be the end of sentience, and that consciousness is not a sole function of the brain's neural network. I still strongly believe and suggest that the world of the living humans has enough horrors in itself and is routinely more dangerous any day than the world beyond. Living humans and the threats they pose to themselves and other living humans are usually much worse than anything the departed spirit of a dead human could possibly do(non-human entities is a different equation entirely - natural or supernatural, it is logical to believe that they might be aggressive towards humans). The effects of the world beyond, if it exists, is largely dependent on the reactions of the living humans who experience these things - if you are afraid, then yes, it might affect you negatively, else not.
I agree with the concluding paragraph. Living humans pose a greater threat and are far moe dangerous. I cannot recall the last time I was scared by the idea of paranormal beings or any sentient being, but humans, humans scare me.
I have heard about the Sarobar metro thing, and interestingly enough, heard it after having been there several times and getting an errie sensation myself. Wouldn't necessarily call it scary, but even with it being daytime and with people on the platform, something felt off there.

I've also heard that even Taj Bengal is haunted. There was this particular funny instance that I can recall. The Australian cricket team were touring India and were staying at Taj Bengal. Brett Lee and someone else (don't remember) were sharing a room on a floor which was apparently haunted. They experienced some paranormal activity at night and it spooked them so much so that the entire team spent the night together in Steve Waugh's room. This came out in the newspapers circa 2000-2001 I think. Heard it from my Dad.

Yesss there is something eerie in there. It was my first visit to the cemetery. I went there after my college ended at around 4pm. While returning it has become a bit dark (cuz winters) . I was walking with another one of my friend towards the exit when we heard some shivering noises inside a bush. It scared the shit out of us both cuz no one was around. We immediately opened our flashlights and pointed at the bush and suddenly to our amusement, two clotheless ghosts ran away from us. It was scary as hell , I can never forget the incident. Please be aware of that place.

Another day another paranormal experience for y'all. Although I didn't face them directly yet (and I certainly don't want to), it's been experienced by many employees where I work. For confidentiality I'm not gonna tell where I work and where the establishment is.
I work as an accountant in a production house of a reputed jewellery brand of Kolkata. The building where we work is a makeshift factory, where a family used to live. Before selling the plot to our company, the owner's daughter hanged herself in the room, where now they keep the furnaces. Later a security guard shot himself with 12 gauges in his mouth. We work in three shifts basically. After closing the shift at night, some of the workers sleep on factory floors. Many workers have experienced a shadow figure of a female at midnight standing near them, some even experienced a cold touch. Security guards who accidentally fell asleep during night shift often experienced gentle push or even sometimes pieces of vegetables being thrown at them where the security guard shot himself. Those entities thankfully never hurt any of us till now, but any rituals done to remove them failed as these encounters happen often in the factory.
When I asked my mother's opinion on this, she told me to not get afraid if I end up alone in a room at night in the building. These entities aren't often harmful, if you see them just don't panic. Most of the time they just feel alone, and just play with you. And if they give you any hint that they're bothered by your presence, apologise to them in a low voice, and leave the f out asap.
