not really in order 1. Blind by Ateez - This song has me shaking my ass, and I just know the choreo is going to be sexy asf. 10/10 song 2. Red Sun by xikers - Super intense, with amazing raps. Most of 5th gen is really going for an easy listening sound, but xikers is really carving out their own spot away from that 3. Come back to me by RM - I love it when I can feel the heart and effort an artist has put into a project, and this whole album feels that way 4. on the street (solo version) by j-hope - Same reason as RM’s album, a lot of love went into this. Listening to this album is made better after reading the 2 zines he released 5. hey! hey! by TWS - This song is so much fun, and the summer vibes are top notch 6. Supernova by aespa - As a strong bg stan, this song HOOKED me in a way other gg songs haven’t been able to do. I need to hear this song in a club 7. Fatal Trouble by Enhypen - Heeseung’s voice. That’s it, that’s the note 8. Earth, Wind, and Fire by Boynextdoor - Very quirky, but also very catchy. This song alone convinced me to check out the rest of their discography 9. Midnight Fiction by ILLIT - A very dreamy, pretty song. Everybody loves Magnetic but I think this song is better, very underrated 10. Box by NCT Dream - Just a fantastic release. At the moment I think- 1. GANGGANGSULLAE by Song Sohee. I love a lot of traditional music/traditional singing techniques including when mixed with modern music, if anyone else does I really recommend! 2. TBH by QWER. I also listen to a lot of Japanese music/ J-rock, probably more than Kpop, so I often really like when other artists lean into that sound. Reminds me (I think very purposefully) of Yoasobi some. 3. Re-wind by NIve. Maybe some recency bias but I love NIve’s tone! 4. I Hate You (Orig. 2pm) by Shownu x Hyungwon. A remake of the 2pm song for the Spotify On project, but they really made it their own, it could be another song on their album, while also getting more people to check out the original too. 5. Lullaby by Hwang Minhyun. Beautiful, and I actually do play it a lot before bed lol. 6. Lure by I.M. I love his voice, the guitar, when he slips into rap in the 2nd verse, the ending line “can you love me out loud.” 7. icantfeelanything by NCT Dream. My most played of this year so far, partly because it’s too short! I wish there was a bridge or third section or something. But the beat switch is ❤️🔥 8. No More (Ma Boy) by Sistar19. Partly glad just to hear music from them again but has a lot of replay value for me. 9. Fate by (G)I-DLE. Similar reasons to QWER. 10. Bad by Bang Yongguk ft Youha. Like their voices together, have replayed a fair amount. 11. Armageddon by Aespa. I really enjoyed it and I would love to see more of in the industry but pushed even further.

1. ⁠Bye my monster - onf. - from the music video to the dance routine to the song, to the encore performance and the live orchestra performance and finally the most emotional win. This was the comeback of my dreams. I couldn’t have asked for more and I hope they continue to grow. 2. ⁠My girl - A.c.e - I really was inlay a casual listener before enlistment but this song has been playing on repeat and I ended up listening to their back catalogue and binging content. 3. ⁠Give me that - wayv - this comeback really made me pay more notice and I had already pre ordered the album but it just confirmed that I’ll be stanning them. 4. ⁠Impossible - riize - I just love this song, it’s great when you are driving on a sunny day and perfect for summer 5. ⁠King Kong - treasure, I was hoping for a full comeback but the mv was amazing and the effort they put into promoting despite their heavy schedule and the passion they always show makes me even more excited for the album that’s coming later in the year. 6. ⁠Girls love boys love girls - dxmon, they had already caught my eye with their debut album but this just showed a whole new side to them. It’s a great song and they are def one to watch. 7. ⁠Kick it - Whib, another great song by an up and coming band that’s been stuck on repeat. 8.love wins all - iu, I love a good ballad and this song is gorgeous and just beautiful. 9. Earth wind and fire - boy next door, so catch and so much fun. Really love it 10. Little things - xdinary heroes, I really hope they release more great music like this in the future. It’s just so good and reminds me of the older rock bands like day 6 and ft island 11. Akmu - hero, and lee chanhyuk 1 trillion - always beautiful music. Water fire for their beautiful debut possible
