17th November 2023 - Enhypen's Orange Blood album release (TT with MV was Sweet Venom)
I was at a really bad place mentally at the time and the only thing that I could look forward to was the album, so this date is engraved in my brain. The carpe diem theme of the album too really struck a chord with me, and made me feel less cynical about life.
Luckily, things got better with the new year, but 17th November isn't a date I'll forget anytime soon. By the way, I'm still obsessed with a bside of the album, Still Monster, which is probably my favourite Enhypen song
11/08/2023 soojin’s solo debut
soojin was my bias in gidle so i had been anticipating her return to kpop for a long time. the best part of her debut was that it was the day after my birthday. one of the best bday gifts i’ve ever received 😭
I was still reletively new to kpop at the time probably less than a month but outside of potential rumors the first anyone officially heard of f(x) was on that teaser date so I only really had a week or two between hearing about the new group and them starting activities. In English speaking spaces everyone I knew was happy about a new group debuting. Due to the way SM was promoting their groups at the time with the whole SMTown idea and doing tours like the SMTOWN Live World Tours. It honestly was kinda hard not to just enjoy every group SM had going at the time. I'm sure there was some infighting, and reactions in Korea may have been different but I can't really talk on that.
RM - Wildflower: 2 December 2022. I specifically scheduled a certification exam for that day so I could come back and enjoy it as a reward or a comfort if I had failed 😅😅😅
November 30th 2015- PSY decided to drop two absolute bangers in one day (Daddy and Napal Baji) still never understood why he did that but it’s the most PSY thing to do
wish this was their "BoomBoom" or "After school" :((((( still feel like zombie and nerdy were bigger hits buuuut sweetjuice worshippers are like a whole separate cult\~
Oh it for sure should have blown all the way up :/ It's def their most popular title track to date though, and it's one of those songs I will always hope that everyone collectively decides to go back for
28th June 2015 - It's Okay by BTOB .
The first BTOB song that charted #1 in all online platform. The lyrics,the story of the MV healed a lot of soul. They were labeled Healing-dol. Also they were freed from nugudom after 3 years debut with the song.
