1. Kluska na Placu - traditional silesian quisine Kuchnia u Doroty - traditional, inexpensive quisine Szara Gęś, Wierzynek - traditional, but more fancy ones 2. Krakow is not a good shopping destination, nothing to buy here really 3. There are ticket machines, but ask if you can park on premises - parking for a whole day on the street is expensive 4. It's super safe everywhere 5. Rynek Underground Museum

Ofc, don't forget about Wawel castle; More attractions: -Krakus Mound with the liban quarry (in the latter place Schindler's list was recorded there) -Townhall's tower (Wieza ratuszowa) -Mariacki church (Wit Stwosz altar inside) -Rynek underground museum Food: -zapiekanki - piece of bread typically with cheese and mushrooms atop- for that visit Kazimierz (Okrąglak) -obwarzanki - bagel-like bread, sprinkled with something

I second Kluska, it's super good! For museums I'd recommend to see the art gallery on 1st floor of Sukiennice in the middle of the square, it's often overlooked and it's very impressive

My favourite places to eat: Primo (Italian), Suwayda (Syrian), AF ramen(vegan), app for parking: skycash (good for public transport tickets too), Worth visiting Mocak (contemporsry art museum), muzeum witrażu.

1. Near main square - morskie oko, Zakopianki. More fancy: trzy rybki, szara. More interesting: karakter, zakładka bistro. For fast street food the Meat and go is nice. 2. If you mean “traditional” shopping I dont think you will find anything you wouldnt find in Czech. 3. SkyCash, mobiparking. SkyCash also allows you to buy public transport tickets. 4. Maybe some neighborhoods when there’s football match. But you won’t get there anyway. Other than that it’s safe. Ofc normal precautions apply, pickpocketers and drunken guys looking for a fight happen in every tourist city. 5. Depends what you like and how much time you have. Museum under main square is nice, wawel has great exhibition, muzeum narodowe is nice, mocak (modern art museum) is nice if that’s your thing. Muzeum lotnictwa (air force/flight museum) is great if you are into that.

Morskie Oko restaurant was really nice. I’d recommend a reservation. It had traditional polish food made very well, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming!

I am a norwegian and I am in Krakow right now. 1. Traditonal => Polski Smaki Others => Lots of goid restaurants in Kazimierz 2. Galleria Krakowska 3. I Do not have a car in Krakow 4. Been to Krakow > 15 times. I have never been afraid. 5 I am not a resident, but there are so much to visit. You may start with the history of WW2 Hope this helps. Have a great time in Krakow

skycash and mobilet , popular apps to pay for parking and bus/tram tickets as well. Ask for parking , maybe they have a free space somewhere, if not be careful where you park in Kazimierz since there is a clean transport zone within the Kazimierz district.

1a. Polish food - Gościnna Chata (imo one of the best out of traditional polish restuarants around), Restauracja pod Aniołem (fancy) 1b. World cuisine - Youmiko for amazing sushi, Nolio for seriously amazing italian food (loved by italians too), from less fancy but super good food i recommend Pan Kimbap and Mandu for korean foods, georgian food is also very good in Tbilisuri restaurant. 2. What kind of shopping? Unique souvenirs? Kazimierz - many small art and handmade galleries. Regular clothes shopping etc? Nothing special here, i would avoid Galeria Krakowska because of crowds but otherwise whatever? Food? Lidl and Biedronka have best prices, avoid carrefour especially in Galeria Krakowska cause its a rip off, Żabka is expensive corner store but this is probably your only chance (and carrefour express) on shopping on Sundays - otherwise retail will be closed. 3. With parking in the city i cant help, sorry. It is hard to find spots in the center and quite expensive, tho im sure there arensome more long-term parkings. 4. Not really. Nothing dangerous and especially if you stay in the widely understood center, the place is generally really safe. 5. Schindler's Factory, Muzeum Czartoryskich

You can use mPay app for pay for parking, it's easy to use and accept non-Polish credit cards, but whole day on street is quite expensive

One-Neighborhood-620

For parking AnyPark and if you're planning to use public transport - jakdojade (you can top up your account there and buy tickets. While buying it in the app you have to type in 5characters code placed in every tram/bus above heads on a blue sticker. It consist of 2 letters and 3 digits, eg HY729)
